(Dogday's POV)

Me and Catnap finished eating as we sort of just sat there awkwardly, not knowing what to do next.

"...So... Wanna go play outside...?" I asked slowly, but to be honest, I didn't actually want to to go outside, I sort of wanted to just stay inside after that long walk to Neko's house.

"...No... Not feeling it right now..." Catnap responded as I let out a sigh of relief.

"That's good, I didn't want to go outside either." I mumbled as I got up and stretched, and so did Catnap, but he wrapped his tail around me.

He lifted me up into his arms as he held me bridal style, walking back upstairs as he brought us back into my room, placing me down on the bed.

"So can we both agree that we wanna just stay in bed today...? Pretty please,..?" Catnap begged me softly as he got on top of me and laid down on my chest.

He hugged me as I laid there, completely shocked at what just happened, but soon after, I eventually wrapped my arms around him as I nodded.

"Hehe... Sure... Let's just stay in bed today..." I mumbled as I pulled the covers above us both, caressing Catnap's check as I hugged him close to me.

I almost immediately felt drowsy, especially because Catnap was here, but Catnap looked like he was having a rough time going back to sleep.

"Catnap...? You doing okay? You can use some of that red smoke if you want, I don't mind..." I said, brushing some of Catnap's fur out of his face.

"No... It's just... bright in here..." Catnap stated, groaning a bit as he shielded his eyes, looking at the window.

"You can shut the blinds if you want..." I said as Catnap nodded softly before using his tail to close the curtains of the window, making the room exceptionally dimmer.

"There we go... That's better..." Catnap muttered as his head sank into my chest, he soon began purring softly.

"Aw... The sun too much for your sensitive eyes...?~" I teased as I felt Catnap wrap his tail around my legs, keeping them shut together as he looked up at me.

Although he seemed different, his pupils were no longer white dots, instead, they were small white hearts as he smiled at me lovingly.

I giggled a bit as that comment had clearly made Catnap very happy, maybe even a bit playful...

"A- Alright, kitty, you can let go of my legs now..." I mumbled nervously as Catnap hugged himself closer to me again, tightening the he grip he had on my legs.

"I love you, Dogday, I love you so much." Catnap muttered as I seemed taken back from this sudden comment.

"...I- I love you too..." I mumbled back, Catnap caressing my cheek softly as he leaned in and kissed me softly.

I froze for a second before leaning into the kiss myself, subconsciously placing my hand on the back of Catnap's head.

After a good couple of seconds, me and Catnap pulled away for air as I went back to wrapping my arms around Catnap.

I pulled him upwards so we were basically the same height now, his tail still holding my legs in place.

Catnap placed his lips on mine again, although this time, he slipped his tongue into my mouth, making me shiver slightly as he wrapped his tongue around mine.

I couldn't help but whine a bit, as the pleasure was getting a bit too much for me to handle, but I had a feeling that Catnap knew that.

Catnap eventually pulled back as he held my cheek in his hand, pinning me to the bed with his other hand.

"Who's a good boy... Hm?~ Is it you?~" Catnap asked playfully as I unexpectedly got excited and nodded a bit.

"Y- Yeah... I am...!" I muttered as Catnap smiled a bit before caressing my face gently with his hand, his touch being softer than ever.

"Yes you are..." Catnap mumbled as he released my legs and stopped pinning me down, lying back down on my chest as he sank down into the covers.

I sank down with him as we both wrapped ourselves in the blankets of my bed, and for some reason, they seemed puffier than usual, and more soft, but that was okay.

This time, sleeping in was what I preferred the most... I might even just sleep through the whole day...
