(Kicken's POV)
I was just relaxing in my living room, practicing a few tricks with a yo-yo I had gotten in the past, it was really cool in my opinion, but nobody seemed to agree with me.
I played with the yo-yo a little bit more until I heard a knock coming from my front door, but I wasn't expecting anyone to come over today, so I was a bit on edge.
I slowly got up and opened the door to find... Neko?
"Oh, hey, Neko! What's up?" I asked as last time I was able to talk to the guy, he actually seemed quite happy to talk to me.
"Heya, so I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I want to talk to you about something, something that I only trust you with." Neko said, putting me back on edge again.
I invited him into my house as we both sat down, and I thought of all the things that Neko could possibly talk about, he's told me some pretty serious stuff before.
"See, my body has a pretty weird condition with food..." Neko began, and it seemed that this wouldn't be that bad of a conversation, it was just about food.
"Now, my body doesn't REQUIRE food or anything like that, but food raises my spirits a bit y'know?" Neko said, to which I responded to.
"So are you just trying to find something to eat? I have a bunch of things if you want some." I responded as Neko shook his head a bit.
"Well, sort of. But my point is, for some reason, any normal food that I try to eat... My body will just force me to throw it up, and I don't know why." Neko explains, and that DOES sound like quite a problem.
"But weirdly enough, any type of... stereotypical Japanese food that I eat goes down just fine." Neko continued.
"Japanese food... Like... This stuff?" I asked as I got up and reached into my fridge, pulling out some noodles that I mysteriously found in my fridge in the past.
Neko mumbled something to himself, and quickly nodded a bit.
"Yeah, that's the stuff I used to eat before, it's really good! You should try it!" Neko said as I examined the cup of noddles more.
I realized that this stuff was meant to be spicy, and normally I love spicy stuff, but I've never tried noodles before, and I didn't want the spice to give me a bad impression.
"Eh, no thanks, dude... Do you want it instead?" I asked as Neko gave me a thumbs up, to which I tossed the noodles to him.
But he did something that concerned me a lot, instead of finding a way to heat the noodles up like how you would do with other foods, he simply grabbed the whole cup and ate the thing whole.
He tossed the entire cup into his mouth like it was nothing, and to be honest, that scared me quite a bit.
"Ooooh... It was the spicy version... Now I see why you didn't want any." Neko mumbled to himself as he sat up a bit when I sat down.
"Y'know, I could probably cook up some Japanese stuff for you, I used to be a really good cook before." Neko offered.
"Sure, what do you got to offer?" I asked as Neko simply responded with...
"You ever heard of Takoyaki?" Neko asked me, to which I shook my head no in response.
"It's a type of grilled food made into small balls out of octopus, I think you'd like it." Neko explained, grilled foods were my favorite, and I ate mostly anything grilled as long as it smelled good.
"Sure, go for it, take as much time as you-" I spoke, but before I could finish, Neko dashed around from the couch to the kitchen, becoming a blur as he dashed around the kitchen.
In a couple of seconds, Neko dashed back to the couch as he set a plate of food in front of me, I was completely stunned by his speed.
"Oh yeah, don't worry, that's normal for me." Neko said, putting me out of my trance as I looked at the food on the table.
He was right, it was literally just grilled octopus shaped into some small circles, covered in some type of sauce, or gravy, or anything.
I tried some, and I'll admit, it was really good, so good in fact, I tried another, then another, and another...
A couple minutes later
"Wow... That was... Delicious! How did you make that in only a couple seconds?!" I asked excitingly.
"Just what I do, I'm fast with mostly everything." Neko said.
For the next couple of hours, we spent time talking, he noted some things he liked, one of them was video games, which I actually enjoyed too.
We spent the rest of the time playing a few games we both enjoyed very much, and this time was nice.
I liked this Neko guy, he was pretty cool!
