(Dogday's POV)
After a while of sleeping peacefully, I felt some fabric shuffling around as I saw Neko sit up slowly, rubbing his eyes in confusion as he looked down at me.
"D- Dogday...? What am I doing here...?" Neko asked as I also sat up, my tail wagging happily, mainly because I was actually able to get a good amount of sleep.
"Well, Catnap brought you back to his place after he found you, but then I decided to bring you to MY house instead!" I explained as Neko just looked at me in confusion.
"Hm... Okay, that's nice... I think..." Neko mumbled as he tried standing up, but I stopped him.
"Hold on a second, I made a promise to myself to make sure to take care of you, I know how dangerous you actually are now, and I can't have you wandering around on your own!" I exclaimed, hopping out of bed.
Neko was able to stand up anyways even though I tried stopping him, although, I didn't really expect my strength to do much to him.
We both walked downstairs as Neko immediately tried walking towards the front door, but I stood in front of him, blocking his way as I spoke once again.
"Like I said, Neko, I can't have you wandering around on your own!" I repeated as Neko sighed before raising his hand to my face.
He slowly summoned a light from his hand as he pointed it at me, probably threatening me, but to be honest, I knew he wouldn't actually do anything.
"Wow, okay then." Neko mumbled as I did absolutely nothing and kept blocking him, the light fading away from his hand as he walked away.
I sighed in relief as I walked into my kitchen to try and make some food, although I didn't really know what Neko wanted, as I didn't know any Japanese breakfasts.
"Hey, Neko? What do you-" I asked, but I was cut off almost immediately.
"Nothing, I'll make my own food." Neko called out as he sat down on the couch, leaving me puzzled, how did he know what I was about to ask?
"I read your mind, that's how." Neko called back to my thought, immediately proving his point.
I was about to go back to choosing something to make, but I saw Neko start moving his hand from left to right in the air, getting increasingly faster.
His hand eventually became a blur as a small bowl appeared in his hand, seemingly out of thin air, and all I saw was small grains of rice inside.
I genuinely thought Neko was about to pull out chopsticks from nowhere, but instead, he ate... The entire bowl...
Even the bowl itself...
"Neko, are you okay?" I asked slowly as Neko gave me a thumbs up as he cracked his neck twice before pulling his beanie over his face and leaning back.
Neko was definitely a strange person, but he was so cool! He has a bunch of powers! They're random, but they are still powers!
"Also, look behind you." Neko muttered as I did as he asked, and saw a plate of bacon and pancakes behind me.
I stood there, shocked that Neko somehow made that entire plate phase into existence behind me, and I didn't know what to think anymore.
"And yes, I manually put that over there, you just didn't see me moving." Neko muttered as he leaned over and fell on his side, probably going back to sleep.
I sat there in silence as I picked up the plate slowly, putting it on the dinner table as I sat down.
How did he cook this all so fast? Is this even safe to eat? I have so many questions...
But before I could answer any of them, my stomach just rumbled slightly, so I shrugged this entire thing off and just ate.
To be honest, Neko was a pretty good cook, I would probably never find out how he did it, but his food was great!
I guess I'd better eat this before it gets cold...
