(Dogday's POV)

I had been waiting for Catnap for a good couple of minutes, I had continually tried thinking of happy thoughts, but I just couldn't keep up with this anymore, I genuinely thought the worst had happened to Catnap...

I whined a bit as I laid down on the couch, hugging a pillow, but outside, I saw a silhouette of someone with cat ears and a tail, and I immediately got excited.

I wiped the small tears from my face and placed the pillow back where it originally was, and I watched Catnap come in, but he was holding someone...

"Wha- Neko?! How did you manage to get him on your side again?" I asked, actually puzzled by the face that Catnap was literally holding Neko in his arms.

"Some red smoke." Catnap replied, to which I scoffed to, sighing as I put a hand to my face.

"Do you think that smoke is really going to solve every one of your problems?" I asked sarcastically as Catnap responded with the same energy, nodding his head as I rolled my eyes.

He placed Neko on the couch next to me as he went upstairs, and as he did, I started thinking...

If Neko had problems with Catnap at the current moment, wouldn't it make sense to bring him to MY house instead? He'd be more comfortable there, and I could make sure he was alright.

I could probably handle him myself, although I don't really know what could even satisfy Neko, all I know is that he likes Japanese food, but I sadly don't have any of that...

Catnap came back downstairs as he was holding a blanket, walking over to us both as he was about to cover Neko with the blanket, but I stopped him.

"Wait, shouldn't Neko go to my house? He still has a problem with you, remember?" I asked as Catnap stood there for a second, before walking back a little.

"Well yeah, but... Can you take care of him by yourself...?" Catnap asked, making me gasp dramatically as a joke.

"Do you really think I can't take care of someone? I've taken care of you, nothing is worse than that!" I joked as Catnap giggled a bit as he quickly ran back upstairs, then came back down.

He walked towards the front door of his house as he held the doorknob, looking at me as I sat there confused.

"Well? C'mon! You're the one who is able to take of anyone, right?" Catnap teased as I laughed silently, picking Neko up and slowly heading out of the front door.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay, Catnap?" I stated ad Catnap nodded before he slowly closed the door, turning off the downstairs lights and walking upstairs.

I walked to my house and looked down, realizing that Neko wasn't... That heavy, he weighed almost nothing at all!

"Hm, neat." I said to myself as I walked to my front door, opening it and walking inside, smelling the fresh Vanilla scented air.

I let out a sigh of relief, being in my own home for once this week, but the place looked... Spotless! Nothing like how I left it...

I placed Neko down on the couch as I saw a note, I picked it up and read the following...

"Dear, Dogday."

"I've noticed your house isn't in the best shape internally, so I decided to clean it up for you!"

"I hope you don't find this creepy! I didn't go through any personal stuff! Pinky promise!"

- Neko

"Aw... Neko you little rascal...~" I muttered to myself as I put the note down and picked Neko back up.

I had originally planned on leaving Neko on the couch so he could have a place to rest, but he had done something so nice, he was so caring...

I walked upstairs and gently placed him down on my bed, tucking him in as I turned on the nightlight near my bedside, turning off the actual light in my room, then climbed into bed.

I thought about it for a good second, and eventually hugged Neko close to me as I noticed he had a signature scent like ours! He had a scent of ginger!

Although, the real reason I hugged him, was that I noticed that he was decently happy when getting noticed by other critters, so maybe... Maybe he was an attention seeker!

Looks like I'll have to keep a close eye on this lil' guy for a while now...
