(Dogday's POV)

It had been a couple hours after that... Incident, and Catnap thankfully seemed to be okay, only a couple of bruises remained, but he seemed like he was back to normal.

"Catnap... I'm really sorry that happened to you... I knew something was off about him today..." I comforted Catnap as he laid down on the couch in a blanket, almost falling asleep in my arms as I held him.

"No... I should have had a better understanding of his condition... I don't know why I thought he'd be able to catch that ball... He literally explained his entire reasoning for not being able to to me..." Catnap explained as I gave him a few head rubs and scratches.

"Well, I get that he was mad, but he had no reason to-" I tried comforting Catnap as he held a hand up to silence me.

"No, I was in the wrong there, he clearly has anger issues, and we can't forget, he's still got the mind of a baby, there's no telling what he could have actually done to me if Kicken didn't stop him." Catnap mumbled as I soon began to agree with him.

"Well, now that all of this is over, do you want to go to bed? It's getting late, the suns lowering, and hey! I'll even let you sleep in tomorrow-" I tried offering, but Catnap cut me off.

"I'm gonna go apologize to him." Catnap exclaimed as he sat up, stretching as I stood there, dumbfounded.

"W- WHAT?! ...Sorry... I mean, what...?!" I exclaimed as Catnap looked at me like he was dead serious.

"Do you realize what he's going to do to you if he sees you again...?! He'll rip you to shreds!" I almost shouted as Catnap sighed a bit.

"But what's even worse than that, he could probably never trust me again, and he could never mentally recover from this if I don't make sure he knows I'm sorry..." Catnap explained as I stood there in silence.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine, he has no reason to attack me, he won't do anything to me, I promise." Catnap said as he looked at me sincerely.

"...Okay... Fine... Just please be safe, I don't know what I'll do with myself if I let you get hurt again..." I mumbled as Catnap held my face in his hand gently.

"I swear I'll be fine, I'll come back before midnight, no later." Catnap finished as he walked out of the house, into the night, then presumably into the forest.

I really hope he's okay... I'm so tempted to just go out there myself and go try to find him...

But I have to trust him on this one, because he's right, Neko wouldn't hurt him, he had no reason to...

I really hope Catnap wasn't just making stuff up to make sure I wouldn't overthink about him... I'm so worried...
