(Catnap's POV)

After everyone had settled down and finally realized that Maxwell genuinely didn't want to intentionally hurt Neko, they all eventually went home, as it was getting late.

Me and Dogday stayed back as Neko and Maxwell both relaxed under a tree, all of us sitting in silence.

"...S- So, uh..." Dogday started as Maxwell looked at him slowly.

"W- Where are you guys going to stay...?" Dogday asked as Maxwell sighed softly before turning around, looking into an open field that nobody has went to in a long time.

"Is that field used for anything?" Maxwell asked as I shook my head, making Maxwell respond with a simple nod.

Maxwell simply snapped his fingers as something started forming in the field, it looked to be a house, just like everybody else's!

"Woah! That's so cool! How did you do that?!" Dogday exclaimed as Maxwell laughed a bit before answering.

"I have a lot more abilities than Neko, trust me." Maxwell explained as Dogday still seemed a bit excited.

"But what about Neko? Are you two just planning on staying together? Or...?" I asked as Maxwell looked at Neko before responding with a simple "Nah."

Neko sat up, groaning as he stretched a bit, holding his stomach as he looked into the distance and saw the house.

"W- What the... When did that get there?" Neko asked as Maxwell pointed to himself.

"Oh, and also, whaddya mean "Nah"?" Neko asked softly as Maxwell groaned a bit.

"If I have to stay in a house with you, you will become my 13th reason." Maxwell stated... 13th Reason...? What?

"Aw... Please...? It's so cold out here... You don't want me to freeze to death do you...?" Neko begged, purposely giving him the puppy dog eyes as he paused before sighing.

"...Fine..." Maxwell groaned.

"Yay!!" Neko exclaimed happily as he playfully pounced Maxwell, making them both fall over.

"W- Neko! You're okay?!" Dogday asked in confusion as Neko giggled a bit and nodded excitedly.

"Yep, I just wanted to make Max look bad, haha!" Neko exclaimed as me and Dogday sat there in silence.

"Seriously, Neko?! You motherfu-" Maxwell tried yelling at Neko, but Neko quickly covered his mouth, giggling happily as his tail swayed in the air.

"Quiet, Max. I'll make it up to you later." Neko mumbled as he looked at us, Maxwell under him as Neko sat on his lap.

"But anyways, yeah, that punch only hurt for a second, I just had to make Max look bad for how much he bothered me today." Neko explained as Maxwell rolled his eyes.

"So...You're actually fine? Like, nothing is wrong with you?" I asked as Neko nodded while smiling.

"That, and c'mon, Max! You didn't even let me get a chance to block, you jerk!~" Neko accused Maxwell, yet he sounded more happy than angry, and to be honest, he sounded a bit more excited than usual.

"Neko, are you feeling okay?" I asked as Neko nodded as he smiled at Maxwell who sighed under his mouth.

Neko eventually let go of Maxwell, yet still making sure he was secured on the ground, holding down his shoulders.

"Hey, Catnap." Dogday whispered to me as Neko and Maxwell continued on a random conversation they were having.

"Look at the position they're in..." Dogday whispered as I looked back, and I immediately understood what he meant.

"Dogday, not everything has to be so horny with you..." I whispered back as Dogday giggled a bit, his tail wagging happily.

"You two can go home now, I'm gonna settle things with Max over here." Neko mumbled as we both stood up, stretching as me and Dogday bid our goodbyes and went home.

This time, Dogday didn't come home with me, he went to his own house, and I wanted to go to his, but I resisted.

"Hey, Catnap, wanna go to my house?" Dogday asked as we both turned in different directions, and I couldn't really resist.

I nodded as I smiled softly, walking back home with Dogday as we made it to his house, walking in as we immediately got ready for bed.

(Neko's POV)

Me and Max sat out in the open under the tree as we both continued in rambling about random things, yet what I really wanted was to see how far I could actually tempt Max.

"C'mooooon, Max! Can't you read the signs I'm giving off?~" I asked playfully as Maxwell sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Neko, last time you asked me to make out with you, I said it was a one time thing, I just wanted to calm you down." Max responded, completely killing my mood.

"Ugh, c'mon you killjoy! Just let me have fun every once in a while, I won't force you, but at this point you're MAKING me!" I exclaimed, sort of annoyed.

"You really saying that I'm the only one good enough for you? There's literally another cat in this "Critters" group, just get with him..." Maxwell muttered.

"He's already with the dog." I stated back.

"...Well that's just stupid." Maxwell mumbled as he groaned before sitting up, grabbing me by my collar and pulling me closer to him.

"Fine, I'll... "entertain" you from now on, but just know, we aren't a thing." Maxwell mumbled as I got off of him, Max standing up.

"This is gonna be so much fun...! Just you wait!" I exclaimed happily as Max shook his head.

We immediately started walking to the house Max made appear, and as soon as we got inside, he laid down on a couch and patted his chest.

I happily laid on his chest as I cuddled him lovingly, him sighing as he got impatient almost immediately.

"Well? You gonna take the lead? Or should I?" Max asked as I chuckled a bit before leaning in and nipping at his neck.

He groaned before sighing, wrapping his arms around me as I continued.

"I thought you said my teeth are fragile?~ What's wrong now?~" I asked playfully as Max bit my neck in response.

"Ow! Jerk..." I mumbled as Max chuckled to himself.

Maybe this would be more fun than I originally thought, now that he actually seems more into it...
