(Short!! Had to get something out, I feel like I've been slacking off)
(Catnap's POV)
I had quickly finished the food Dogday placed in front of me after he promised letting me sleep in.
He giggled a bit as I ate quickly, putting my plate in the sink as I ran up to him, surprisingly excited to do something as simple as sleep in for a bit.
"Alright, alright, Catnap... Let's get to it." Dogday sighed as he knew that I wasn't acting like myself today.
We made our way up the stairs as Dogday and I got back into bed, I almost immediately cuddled up to him as I wrapped my tail around his leg, purring softly.
"Wow, Catnap, I know you're all about sleeping... But this seems like a lot of effort to put into a quick nap." Dogday teased me as I grumbled slightly.
"It's not just a nap... It's special..." I mumbled as Dogday giggled a bit before scratching parts of my head, and giving me a few head pats.
I sighed as I purred softly, resting my head in the crook of Dogday's neck, his fur was smooth, and he was warm, which I enjoyed a lot.
The main reason I even decided I wanted to go back to bed was just to get a bit warmer for the morning, because I for some reason felt really cold when I first woke up.
"Catnap... You feel... Really cold right now, is that why you wanted to go back to bed?" Dogday asked me as I waited for a second before nodding slowly.
"You could have just told me that silly...! All this time I thought something was wrong with you, turns out, you were just cold!" Dogday teased me as I sighed, he still seemed to have a lot of energy, even though I wanted him to fall back asleep.
I didn't even realize it, but I ended up being so bothered by Dogday having this much energy, I revealed my sharp nails and grinded them against Dogday's shoulder.
"O- Oh... You're quite serious about sleeping... Alright, sorry, Catnap, geez..." Dogday apologized as I slowly retracted my nails.
We stayed like this for a bit more before me and Dogday eventually fell asleep together, and that is basically all we did for the next couple our hours.
I didn't really want to have to, but I technically forced Dogday into sleeping by threatening him, and I didn't even mean to!
So to make up for it, I gave Dogday a few head pats and scratches before breathing out some red smoke, breathing it in myself as I started to feel drowsy.
Then everything went dark, and I fell into a deep sleep with Dogday in my arms...
