Morning Drowsiness ♥️

(Catnap's POV)

It was the morning after we had all decided to play outside with  Neko, I was exhausted, and I decided to sleep in for a bit, and I didn't feel like getting up in the slightest.

But I heard Neko and Dogday talking downstairs, and I assumed that they were just talking about yesterday, so I thought I was in the clear.

I curled up into more of a ball as I got more relaxed, purring and hugging myself as I genuinely felt as comfortable as ever.

But Dogday suddenly walked into the room slowly, rubbing his eyes as he leaned over the doorframe.

I opened my eyes slowly as Dogday giggled a bit before speaking.

"Good morning, Kitty...~ Did you have a nice nap?~" Dogday asked me playfully, seemingly teasing me as he walked into the room a bit more, leaning over the bed this time.

"Neko was nice enough to make breakfast for us...~ I know you wanna sleep in, but you gotta eat before your food gets cold...~" Dogday said softly as he rubbed my head a bit.

Without thinking, I whined a bit as I raised my head and held out my arms tiredly, originally wanting to pull Dogday towards me.

"Aw... I guess I understand...~" Dogday mumbled as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me towards him.

He lifted me to his chest as I wrapped myself around his waist, putting my arms around his neck and resting my head on his shoulder.

"Still so sleepy, I see...~" Dogday teased as I whined a bit more, wanting to go back to bed as Dogday giggled a bit before walking downstairs with me.

"Also, don't worry about Neko seeing us like this, he already left..." Dogday told me as I sighed a bit, Dogday placing me down on a chair.

He lifted my head up a bit and scratched under my neck, waking me up a bit as I purred softly.

Unfortunately, Dogday quickly stopped scratching and pet me on the head once before placing a plate of breakfast in front of me.

I whined softly as Dogday seemed to notice that I still wanted more scratches, so he giggled a bit before going back to petting my head and scratching me.

I was genuinely so tired... And that combined with Dogday scratching me, and my favorite food in front of me, I couldn't help but slowly drift back off to sleep again.

I drooled a bit before Dogday tilted my head back up as I snapped out of my trance.

"Catnap, don't go falling asleep on me again, silly...!" Dogday teased as I sighed before finally realizing what was in front of me.

It was my favorite type of breakfast, but how did Neko manage to get all of my favorite parts right? He even got the right type of syrup for pancakes!

"Yeah, Neko's a natural isn't he? I was surprised too, trust me..." Dogday joked as I looked back at him again, while inside, I just wanted him to hug me again as I fell asleep once more.

"I can tell you're still sleepy, Catnap, tell you what..." Dogday started.

"If you finish your breakfast, I'll let you sleep in, and I'll give you all the cuddles you want." Dogday finished, to which I immediately snapped out of my trance again and began eating.

Dogday knew that would catch my attention, and he chuckled a bit before we both began eating peacefully.

Seems like today started out pretty nicely, here's hoping it stays that way...

Man, I'm so tired right now...
