Blythe
I am settled in my seat on the plane, just waiting for take-off, which should be soon. Kade and I fucked in the car on the way here, had coffee when we arrived and then said goodbye, heading our separate ways, and that was that. No more information was shared, no phone numbers, just the memories of our heated time together. It was perfect, really. Now, it is time to get back to reality and head home. It has been a fun twenty-four hours. I plan on sleeping for most of the flight.
"Hello, are you Blythe?"
The sound of a stranger's voice makes me look up, and I see one of the cabin crew smiling at me.
"Um, yes, is there something wrong?" I ask, confused.
"Yes, everything is fine, but you have been requested in first class."
Oh, I wonder who requested me. And how can he even request me? My ticket isn't for first class.
"Requested? How?"
"Your boyfriend is very charming." She laughs.
"He is not my boyfriend," I reply.
"Either way, he would like you to join him. Shall I tell him you will?"
I chuckle, "Yes, I will join him."
I have a feeling if I don't, he will find a way to come through here to me. She laughs and smiles. I grab my things and follow her through to first class. The second I walked in, Kade was looking at me, smirking. I shake my head and roll my eyes.
I stroll over to him and stand in front of him with my hand on my hip, "I thought we had said our goodbyes, no?"
"Yes, but then I decided I didn't want that, not just yet. We may as well keep each other company for the long flight ahead of us," he replies.
"You couldn't survive it on your own?"
"I can, but I thought it would be more fun this way." He grins.
The cabin crew snickers from behind us, takes my bag and puts it in the overhead storage before she disappears. Kade smiles sweetly at me and pats the seat next to him. I accept the seat.
"You do know if I wanted to be in first class, I would have booked it, right? I could afford it." I say with a raised brow.
"But you see, if you knew I would be on the same flight, then you would have changed your mind and booked it," he says smugly.
"And why would I have done that?"
"Because you can't resist my handsome face and charm." He smirks.
I scoff, "But I could sure do without your arrogance."
Kade shrugs, "Hey, I didn't say I was perfect."
I shake my head and laugh. The announcement for take-off comes through, so we get our belts on and wait.
"If you get scared, I don't mind if you hold my hand," he teases.
"I am fine, but my hand is there if you need it." I tease back.
I don't have any issues with flying. I have been doing it for years, between family holidays, business trips with my dad, and my business trips. I don't fear it.
"I am sure I will be fine." He chuckles.
Maybe having some company and a bed to sleep in will make the flight a little more bearable.
"So, when we get back to Scotland, will you stop being so needy and stalking me?" I snicker as we start to take off.
"I am not needy or a stalker." He protests.
