The morning next day wasn't the greatest
I thought I could have avoided the situation by leaving as soon as I can to my healing lesson, but after that my father had called me down to see him
I was going to face punishment
" I don't think your father would punish you so bad, but you have to face the consequences." Kaine said as we both walked through the village. He decided to walk with me after I told him all about what happened yesterday
"Trust me, to keep his image— he'd go beyond his limits." I say, " and it's not like he hasn't given me a warning before so I know I won't be let off so easy."
Kaine sighs, " I don't even understand why you want to break the rules. None of this would be happening if you just didn't follow the avatar and his friend."
"It's not like I want to break the rules. I value my honor, but there is something calling me to waterbend! I mean cmon, it's literally in my blood!" I say with a nervous laugh
"I think it's best to just forget about it. You have a bright future ahead of you Kaila," Kaine says as he stops the both of us to look towards me face to face. I could feel our breathing so close together, and it made me all tingly inside. I've never felt that way toward Kaine before. " and if you see far enough, that future could be better."
