I HAD NO LUCK RETRIEVING AANG BACK
I guess being a amateur bender really did have its cons
I lost the fight, I didn't even know benders could get exhausted. I guess overusing yourself really didn't make a difference if you're a bender or not. I admit, I had a lot to learn and it was extremely reckless to follow the firecracker and try to fight him all on my own, I had been defeated and I think I fell unconsciously
I only assume, as I don't exactly remember much from those lasts moments.
I woke up to the sound of fire crackling against fire wood. My surroundings looked a bit dark, and I felt like I had been tied up, hands and feet. It looked like we were in some sort of cave
I look over to see Aang next to me, I was surprised he had still been under meditation.
That was good, that means not even the fire boy had woken him from the spirit world. There was still a chance, as long as we don't move him
I turn to see the fire bender sitting across from us, he was focusing on the fire he had set up.
"Can't handle the cold?" I finally say, he quickly looks up and gives me a stern look
"No. There's a blizzard." Is all he says before getting up and checking outside of the cave.
"Is a blizzard seriously stopping you?" I interjected
"Shut it, peasant!" He snapped, not bothering to look back at me
"Quit calling me that! I'll have you know I'm of royal descent!"
He laughs, " really? what are you? An ice Queen?" He says mockingly
" close enough," I say, " once our nation defeats all of you fire benders, I'll make sure my father has you paying for all of this."
He laughs, "should've known," he says as he walks back and leans back into the wall, " you're Princess Kaila."
He knows who I am?
"How'd you—."
"It would make sense that you have a traditional royal water tribe head piece, just like your sisters." He says, answering me before I could even finish my sentence.
"right..., like my sister."
"She reminds me of mine." He says, suddenly
"How dare you compare Yue to someone related to you." I snap, I didn't even know his sister personally, so why was I so offended?
"Isn't your sister going to heir the throne?."
I scoff, "what does that have to do with anything?."
"Does that not bother you? Seeing as you are also of royal family and has the same right to heir the throne." He says
