Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 14

Luca's POV

I didn't see Jason for a few days now, and I'm not sure if I should go to Parker's apartment to talk to him, or not, because I don't want him to shout at me, or something.

I sigh, before I decide to go to my brother's house, which is a few minutes away from my parents' house, where I still live.

"Hey." Pascal says with a frown, right after he opens his front door, definitely not expecting me to come here.

"I need an advices, because I'm about to go crazy." I tell him, and he nods, before he reluctantly lets me walk inside of his house.

"Is your mate here?" I ask him curiously, while we walk towards his living room.

I hope that Raid went somewhere, because I really don't want to see that hunter.

"He won't be here for about an hour." He says. "Anyway. Why are you about to go crazy?" He asks me, and I groan slightly, before I sit on the couch and I look at him.

"Well, as you already know, I found my mate, and he seems alright with the fact that I'm an Omega.

But his sister doesn't like it, and a few days ago she attacked me, before she told Jason a lot of lies about me, like I was trying to force myself on her, or something like that." I explain.

"Did he believe her?" Pascal asks me.

"I guess that he believed her at first, but I think that I managed to convince him that I could never do something like that." I say.

"What's the problem then?" He asks me curiously. "If he believed you, then it should be fine now." He tells me.

"The problem is that he didn't talk to me after that, and I have no idea if I should find him or not." I tell him.

"You should talk with him." Pascal tells me, and he gestures to the door.

"Now?" I ask him, and he nods.

I look at him for a while, wondering if he's kidding or not, but when I realise that he's serious, then I stand up, and I sigh loudly, while I walk towards the front door.

"By the way." Pascal says, right before I can leave the living room.

"What?" I ask him.

"I will have a kid soon, I just wanted to tell you, before I will tell everyone else." He told me, and my eyes widen slightly.

"That's great." I say, and I give him a slightly hug.

He chuckles, and he hugs me back, but then he gestures at the door, reminds me of what I was supposed to be doing now.

So, I say a goodbye to him, and then I walk out of his house.

I go straight to the pack house, and up the stairs to Parker's apartment, where Jason should be now.

"I think that I told you that I won't be happy if you will even try to talk with my brother again." Someone says, which makes me turn around.
