Jason's POV

A few days later, I can see that the Omega who lied to me is sitting in the teenagers' day room, so I decide to go there too.

He's the only person here, and that's most likely because the rest of the teenagers are in the high school that's in the city, which is close to the pack lands.

But since he's an Omega, that means that he can't go out of the pack lands, so he can't go to the high school either.

"You lied to me." I tell him, and he turns his head to look at me with a frown.

I'm standing at the doorway, while he's sitting on the couch which is directly in front of the TV.

"Sorry." He tells me, before he chuckles slightly, and he looks back at the TV.

"Can we talk?" I ask him, before my eyes widen slightly, because I have no idea why I want to talk to him.

I have been thinking about him and then fact that he's scared to meet his mate, and I wanted to assure him that he will be fine, but I have no idea why I want to do that.

It's not like I even know him, so I guess that I just want to protect him, because of the fact that he's an Omega.

"Sure." He says, and he turns the TV off, before he stands up.

I make sure that there are some other guards in the pack house, and then I lead him up the stairs to my own room.

"What do you want to talk about? Is Parker alright?" He asks me, and I nod slightly.

"Parker is fine, I just wanted to make sure that you're not stressing about meeting your mate.

I know that your conversation with Parker was disturbed, so I wanted to talk with you about that." I say.

"I just feel like..." He says, and then he stops talking, most likely to consider what he wants to say next.

"Maybe this will not last." He says, and I frown slightly.

"What do you mean?" I ask him curiously, not knowing what he's talking about.

"I wasn't very happy when I was younger, and now I can finally say that I'm happy.

But if my mate will reject me or something, then I won't be happy for much longer." Luca says, and I nod slightly.

"Well, there's no point in worrying about something like this, you will just have to meet your mate, and then you will worry about the things that won't go how they are supposed to go." I assure him.

"Alright." He says, before he let's out a loud sigh. "I should go." He tells me after a while of silence, and I nod slightly, before I watch as he leaves my room.

I just hope that this Omega will find someone who will want to be with him.

I'm not even sure if I would have been alright with being mated to an Omega, but there are not many of them, so I guess that I don't have to worry about it.
