Jason's POV

I sit on the bed, and I turn my head to see Luca who's looking at me with a slightly angry, but mainly confused expression.

"I just want to understand why you don't want to do it." Luca tells me, and I sigh loudly.

Luca and I mated last night, mainly because of the fact that Luca was getting impatient, and he started to say something about biting each other.

So, I hoped that he will forget about the biting if I will sleep with him, but it seems that the fact that I don't allow us to bite each other is bothering him a lot.

To be honest, I don't really have a problem with completing the mating bond with Luca.

And I would have don't it without a problem if I wasn't feelings guilty about hiding something important from him.

I promised myself that I won't bite him, and that I won't allow him to do it to me, before I will figure out how to get rid of the problem that I accidently created.

"Luca, I already told you that I don't feel ready to do it yet." I tell him the lie again, and I hope that he will finally stop being angry about it.

"Whatever." He tells me after a long while of looking at me silently, and then he walks towards the bed, before he lies on it, placing his face on the pillow.

"Give me a few more weeks, and I'm sure that I will happily do it." I say, and he says something into the pillow, but I can't hear him good enough, so I just roll my eyes at him.

"I have to go." I say not much later, and I relay hope that he won't be angry at me again.

"Where are you going?" He asks me.

"I have to talk with Denver." I say, and nods.

"Can I go with you?" He asks me hopefully.

"I'm not sure what he wants to talk to me about, but it's most likely about work, so you will probably have to wait on me anyway." I say, and he groans again, before he moves to lay on his back.

I stand up and I put on a jacket, before I go towards him and I give him a kiss.

Then I go out of his bedroom, and I make my way towards the pack house, where Bear is already waiting on me.

We were supposed to meet there about half an hour ago, but I wasn't able to get out of the house earlier.

"You're late." He tells me.

"I came here as early as I could, I have an angry mate at the house, so I had to make sure that he won't follow me here." I say, and I let him lead me to his room.

"So, what are we going to do about the kid? I really don't want to carry it, and Denver already told us that there's no way that he will let me get rid of it." He says.
