Jason's POV

We stay on the clearing until it starts to get dark, and then we start to pack all of the things that Luca brought here, so we can take them back.

Thankfully, it seems that we will be able to take everything with us at once.

Because I really doubt that either of us would want to come back here again to take the rest of the things.

When everything's in the bags, we decide to shift to our wolf forms, but before we can do it, I see someone at the end of the clearing and I frown slightly.

"What do you want from us?" I ask Carter who chuckles slightly.

"Well, I came here to see why you didn't come to the family night, but I can see that you were having a date, so I guess that I can forgive you." He tells me.

"We will be there in about an hour, at least if Luca will be able to move after all of this running." I tell him, and he chuckles again, before he decides to leave us alone.

"I really can't believe that he came all the way here to see why we didn't go there." I say, and Luca nods.

"I told you that he's crazy about the family lights. Do you believe me now?" He asks me, and I nod in agreement.

"Let's go back." I say, before I shift to my wolf form.

Luca does the same, and we run back towards his parents' house.

"You never took me to the city." Luca tells me when we shift back.

"I know, I will take you there soon." I tell him seriously.

He comes towards me, and he gives me a hug, before he tries to squeeze me tightly, but he quickly remembers that he has a bump now.

"I really can't believe that I'm not sick or anything, but I guess that I should finally stop shifting to my wolf form for the next few months." He says, and I nod.

"I thought that you will be sick all the time, like everyone else that I knew when they were pregnant." I tell him.

"Anyway, we should go now, because Carter will come here again, if he won't see us in his back yard soon." Luca tells me.

"Alright." I say, and I let him go, before we make our way to his grandparents' house.

"I wanted to ask you about something." Luca tells me.

"About what?" I ask him.

"What happened to Ava?" He asks, and I consider how much I want to tell him.

"Denver actually asked me for my opinion on her punishment, and I decided that it will be the best to kick her out of the pack lands." I tell him, hoping that he will think that it was a good decision.

"That's good, I was worried that they killed her or something. She might be stupid, but I wouldn't want her to die because of me." Luca tells me.

We walk in silence for the rest of the way, and when we reach our destinations, I can see that Parker is here, so we decide to greet him.
