Luca's POV

We walk through the woods for a long time, and Parker's actually looks a lot better than he did in the last few days.

"Where do you want to go?" I ask him a while later, when my legs start to hurt from all of this walking.

"Your house." He tells me, so I nod slightly, before we start to walk there.

When we reach it, it turns out that my parents are here, and it seems that they have guests, because there are a lot of scents in the house.

I quickly make sure that Denver isn't here, and then I let Parker walk inside.

"Did Denver let you take him?" Dad asks me, sounding a bit worried and annoyed.

"Yes." I say, and he nods reluctantly.

"Parker." Archer says, and he comes over to hug him, followed by his two brothers.

Parker hugs them back, but he stops when he sees that Xander is here too.

He most likely thinks that Xander won't want him near his kids, but I can see that he doesn't look angry, so I guess that he's alright with that.

"Can I talk with you?" Xander asks Parker, who quickly shakes his head to disagree.

"Please. I won't hurt you, I just want to make sure that you're alright." Xander says.

The two of them look at each other for a long while, and finally Parker agrees, so we let them go upstairs to my brother's old room, while we go outside to play with the kids.

My parents already told us that they will be leaving soon, so I didn't even bother asking them if they want to play with us.

"Why everyone stopped to like Parker?" One of my cousins asks, and I consider what I should tell him.

"He did some bad things, but I can't tell you about it." I say, and he groans, but he nods anyway.

To be honest, I'm still surprised with how well behaved Xander's kids are, because most of my cousins are terrible.

I guess that I will have to ask Xander what I should do to have kids who are this nice.

I kick the soccer ball to Caspian, and he kicks it to one of his brothers, then we play for a while longer, before Xander and Parker come here.

"Are you alright?" I ask him, and he nods, before he tells one of the kids to kick the ball to him.

Archer happily does it, and I smile slightly, before Xander catches my attention.

"Is he alright?" I ask him, and he shrugs.

"I'm not sure, he didn't tell me much, but he's definitely doing a bit better than he was before.

I didn't realise that he wasn't doing well, he looked fine when I saw him at the family nights." He tells me, and I nod slightly.

"I just hope that they will stop experimenting on him, we're not hunters, so I have no idea why they're stupid enough to torture him like this." I tell him.

"Well, Denver let you take him out without any guards, so I guess that he's feeling bad.

And that most likely means that he won't allow it any longer." He tells me, before he tells his kids that they will be going.

I just hope that he's right, because if he's not, then I will have to make sure to take Parker out of the pack lands, and I wouldn't want to do that.
