Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 33

Luca's POV

I'm very happy that Jason is living with me again, but I was hoping that we will be able to enjoy it a bit more.

For the last few days, Jason and I kept worrying about the fact that Bear might be pregnant.

And I already want to know what's going on, because all of this waiting is exhausting me.

I sit on the bed, and I look around the room to see if Jason is here, but it looks like he already left the room, or even the house.

So, I groan slightly, before I let my head fall back on the pillow.

I guess that I will have to wait on him again, while he does his work.

I will have to talk with Denver about finding some work for me, because even though I don't really like the idea of working, I get way too bored when Jason isn't here.

It's something that started to happen after I met him, and I definitely don't like it.

After about half an hour of laying on the bed, I decide to go downstairs, so I can make some breakfast for myself.

I smile slightly when I see that Jason left some of his breakfast for me, as he does every time that he makes more than he can eat.

I take it out of the fridge, and then I eat it quickly, before I decide to go to the pack house.

I still didn't forgive Pascal for what happened when he tried to force me to make friends.

And I will have to remember to remind him about that soon, just to make sure that he won't forget about it.

Thankfully no one hit me, but the situation definitely wasn't nice, and I don't want a repeat of that.

To be honest, I'm not even sure why I came here, but I'm definitely too bored to stay in my house for the whole day again.

When I walk inside of the pack house, I decide to stand next to the front door, and I look around, trying to find something that will interest me.

But all of the people are either at work or at the school, so I guess that I won't be less bored here than I would have been at my house.

I roll my eyes, because I'm a bit angry at myself that I decided to come here, and I swear at myself for all the unnecessary walking that I did and will have to do.

When I'm about to walk out of the pack house, I can see Bear who's going in my direction.

So, I decide to talk to him to see if he already went to the doctor to check if he's pregnant.

He frowns when he notices me, but then he smiles slightly.

"I'm not pregnant, if that's what you want to know, I just talked with the doctor about it." He tells me, and I let out a breath that I was holding.

"That's great." I say, and he nods slightly.

"I'm sorry again." He tells me, and I nod slightly.

We talk for a while longer, and then we decide to go where we were going, before we saw each other.
