Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 12

Luca's POV

When I walk towards the pack house in the next evening, someone almost makes me fall when they run past me in their wolf form.

"Watch where you're going." I say, sounding slightly angry.

I would definitely be angry if this person would have ended up making me fall.

But since I'm not on the ground, and I'm not hurt at all, then I guess that I can forgive them.

They turn around, and they growl at me, so I look at them, and I can see that they are carrying some clothes.

I guess that it's a girl, because she's a lot smaller than the wolf form of a normal man.

And the clothes that she's carrying in her mouth definitely aren't what a boy would chose to wear.

She growls at me again, and then she runs into the woods, so I shake my head and then I continue to walk towards the pack house.

I'm already on the path that leads straight towards the front door, so it shouldn't take long for me to reach it.

A while later, I hear that someone is following me, so I turn around, and I can see that it's a girl, who's dressed in the same clothes that the wolf was carrying, so I guess that it was her.

"What do you want?" I ask her.

"I want you to stay away from my brother, he won't be with an Omega. I won't allow for him to be your mate.

And I'm sure that he's just scared of you, because you're the Alpha's family, so that's why he didn't reject you yet.

But I know what he thinks about Omegas, so I guess that if he decided to keep you around, then that means that he has some plan.

Most likely he wants to use you for money, so better don't get too attached, because that will end badly for you." She tells me, and I roll my eyes.

"I will tell my uncle that you were bothering me, and that you were trying to hurt me." I tell her, and she chuckles.

"And I will tell him that you tried to force yourself on me, so that's why I had to hurt you." She tells me, and before I can even say anything, she comes closer to me, and she kicks me in the back.

I'm not sure how she has this much strength, but she manages to make me fall, and then she drags me towards the woods, where she continues to kick me.

I try to shout, but I don't want her to hurt me even more, so I decide to just lay there until she will be done.

When she finally leaves me, I try to stand up, but my body refuses to do it, so I shift to my wolf form, and I howl as loudly as I can, hoping that someone will come here to help me.

To be honest, if I was a normal ranked werewolf, then I would have just waited for the wounds and bruises to heal.

But since I'm an Omega, that means that it will take a lot longer for me to heal than it would have for a normal human.
