Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 11

Jason's POV

I sight for the hundredth time, and I look at the clock on my phone, hoping that the time will go quicker.

I was waiting here for hours now, and I know that I won't be able to go back to the apartment before Parker will be able to get out of here, but that might not be anytime soon.

It's already the morning, and I can barely keep my eyes open, so I guess that I will have to tell Denver that I won't be any help for now, I just hope that he will understand that.

I stand up, but before I can take my phone out of my pocket doctor Chris comes out of the room that Parker is in, and he smiles slightly when he sees that I'm tired.

"You can take him back for now, but he will have to come here soon again." He tells me, so I nod slightly, and then I walk inside of the room where Brody, who's my friend, is unlocking Parker's handcuffs.

"Is he alright?" I ask Brody, and he shrugs slight.

He looks a bit less tired than me, but that's most likely because he had to deal with Parker, which kept him entertained.

"I'm not sure, I guess that he won't be feeling well for the next few days, as usual." He tells me, and I nod in agreement.

I'm not really sure what they're doing to Parker, but I'm sure that it has something to do with the fact that he has heats, which are only for Omegas and girls.

"Are you going to walk on your own?" I ask Parker, and he nods slightly, so I help him stand up, and I make sure that he won't fall when his legs start to shake.

We slowly walk out of the pack hospital, and to Parker's apartment.

When we reach it, Brody unlocks the front door, and then I let him lock Parker in his room.

I would like to give him some food, but I know that he won't eat it anyway, so I guess that it's pointless.

So, I go to my bedroom, which is only a few feet away from Parker's and then I sit on the bed, before I look at my phone again to make sure that I don't have any messages.

When I can't see any messages, I decide that it's time for me to sleep, but my phone rings, right after I put it on the table, which is beside my bed.

"Hi?" I say, wondering who is calling me this early.

"Hi. I wanted to ask if Parker is fine, I went to check on him, but the doctor said that you already left." Joseph asks.

"Well, I guess that he's physically fine, although you should talk to your mate about this, because we not sure how much more of this he can take, whatever they're even doing to him." I say, and he groans slightly.

"I will try." He tells me, and then he hangs up.
