Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 39

Jason's POV

I walk towards Luca's house, hoping that I will manage to reach it, before I will fall because of something.

I'm wish that is as still living in the pack house, because I definitely don't like the fact that I have to walk this long, after all of the hours that I spend at work.

I guess that I should quit for a while, at least until Denver will forgive me for everything that he holds against me, and for what I will do to Bear soon.

Luca told me about Parker's suggestion, and we decided that hitting Bear will be our only option, so that's what I will do in a few days.

Bear already started to show, even through he's still in his first month, so I guess that it's a good time for this.

He doesn't know anything, but I told him that I found a solution to out problems, so he could stop stressing about it.

I don't want him to be scared of me every time that he will see me, and I guess that it will be easier to just hit him and apologise later on.

I stop walking when I'm about in the middle of the way, and I decide to sit for a while, but right after I do that, I can see something that's laying on the other side of the path.

I quickly stand up when I recognise what it is, and I put the small bag inside of my pocket, before I keep walking towards Luca's house.

"I found something." I say happily, and Luca looks at me with an arched eyebrow.

He's sitting on the couch, and he's hugging a pillow for some reason, so I just sit next to him, before I show him the bag that I found.

"Is this a bag full of drugs?" Luca asks me, and I nod slightly.

"Yes. Do you want to try them?" I ask him while I open the bag.

"I'm not sure." He says, and he looks at the bag with a weird expression as if he wants to take some of the drugs, but he doesn't know if he actually wants to do this.

I encourage him to do it, so he sighs loudly, before he nods in agreement, but his eyes widen right after that, and he looks at me with a frightened expression.

"I'm pregnant." He tells me, and the both of us look at each other for a long while.

"I can't believe that I forgot about it." I say, and Luca nods.

I decide to put the drugs away, not wanting to take them anymore, although I'm sure that I will uses them sometime soon, most likely with my friends.

Luca and I decide to go up the stairs, because Eliott and Fred will be here soon.

I make sure to hide the drugs somewhere where they won't be able to find them.

And I just hope that they won't be able to smell it, because otherwise I will be in trouble, and I wouldn't want that.
