Jason's POV

I walk towards Denver's office, hoping that he will be there, so I can tell him that Parker isn't feelings well.

But I find him before I can even reach the stairs, and it seems that he's walking towards me.

"What's going on?" I ask him.

"Well, I'm trying to find Luca, because apparently your sister kidnapped him, and locked him in some room." Denver tells me, and my eyes widen slightly.

I'm not sure if I should believe him or not, but it seems that he's sure that Luca is saying the truth, so I guess that I should trust his Alpha instincts.

I follow him while he walks in the direction of Parker's apartment, and I frown slightly when we stop in front of another apartment, which isn't very far from Parker's.

I think that this is an apartment that belongs to one of my sister's friends, but I'm not entirely sure about that.

Denver knocks on the door, but when no one answers, he pulls them harshly, trying to open them by force.

Not much later, both of us walk inside of the small apartment, and I sniff the air to try to find my mate, but I can't find his scent.

Thankfully Denver knows how to find the scents that are hiden by the plants that allow someone to hide their scent.

To be honest, using those plants isn't illegal in this pack, but I think that Denver should make them illegal, because most of the people use them for bad reasons.

And it should be used only by the pack warriors, because it allows them to hide their scent, and it helps a lot when they have to fight someone, especially the rogues who attack out pack a lot.

Denver breaks another door, and the noise almost makes me whine in pain, but I manage to force myself to stay quiet.

I follow Denver inside of the room, and I can see that Luca is sitting on the floor, so I quickly walk towards him.

"Are you alright?" I ask him, and he nods slightly.

I help him stand up, and we go out of the empty room, although we stop right after we walk out of the apartment.

That's because Denver had to call some guards who will come here to find out who's appointment this is, and I don't want to leave him here alone.

"But the way." I say when Denver puts his phone away, and this makes him look at me with an arched eyebrow.

"Parker isn't feelings well, so I wanted to tell you to send the doctor to his apartment or something." I tell him, and he nods slightly.

"Well, take Luca to the pack hospital, and let the doctor make sure that he's fine, then tell him to check on Parker." Denver tells me, so I nod in acknowledgement, before I lead Luca down the stairs.

"How are you feeling?" I ask him.

"I'm fine." He tells me, so I sigh slightly, before I make him stop walking.

"I'm sorry that I didn't believe you when you told me that Ava threatened you." I say, and he rolls his eyes.

"It doesn't matter. Let's go downstairs, we have to tell the doctor to go check on Parker." He tells me.
