Jason's POV

I spent the last few hours at Luca's house, but I will have to go back to Parker's apartment to makes sure that everything is alright there.

I don't want to leave Luca's here alone, but I also don't want to leave my friend alone with Parker, especially when he's sick.

"I will have to go for now, but I will try to convince Denver to let me take a few days off from work." I say, and Luca looks at me with a slight pout, although he lets me stand up.

"I will be back in a few minutes if Denver will agree, or in the morning if he won't. Are you going to be alright?" I ask him.

"I will be fine." He assures me, so I nod slightly, and I kiss his head, before I leave his house.

The walk to the pack house isn't very long, and when I reach it, I go straight to Denver's office.

"Is Luca alright?" He asked me right after I open the door.

"He's fine, but I wanted to ask if I could stay with him for the next few days, we never really had a chance to get to know each other." I say, and Denver nods.

"You can stay with him for a week, I will make sure that someone will help the other guard with Parker." He says with a slight smile.

"Thanks." I say, and then I go towards Parker's apartment, so I can pack some of my things.

I knock on the front door, because I left my keys inside, and my friend opens the door not much later.

"Where did you disappear?" He asks me curiously.

"I had to help my mate, and I will be staying with him for a week, so I guess that someone will come here to replace me." I say, and he frowns slightly, but he nods anyway.

"Is Luca fine?" He asks me.

"He will be fine. What about Parker?" I ask, and right after that, I can hear that he's throwing up in the bathroom.

"Is that enough of an answer?" He asks me, and I nod with a slight chuckle.

"The doctor said that he will be alright, so I just let him stay in the bathroom for now." He tells me.

We talk for a while longer, but then I excuse myself, and I go toward my room, where I pack a bag of clothes and some other things, before I go outside.

I start to walk towards Luca's house, but when I'm about half way there, I can hear that someone's walking in the same direction.

At first, I thought that it was Eliott or Fred, but now that I think about it, I'm sure that they wouldn't be able to walk this quietly.

It's obvious that this person is in their wolf front, and a male wolf is way too big to walk this quietly, even if they're trained.

I leave my bag, before I shift to my wolf form, and I start to run in the direction of the other wolf.

I quickly realise that it's my sister, so I decide to follow her instead of stopping her like I wanted to do.
