Maybe This Will Not Last

Chapter 32

Luca's POV

I really can't believe that my mate slept with someone, before he even slept with me, but I guess that I can't be angry at him, because it wasn't his fault.

I just have to decide how much I want to blame this boy, who is still standing in front of Jason.

"Alright, that's not good, but there's nothing that we can do with it now." Jason says quietly, and this seems to make the boy calm down a bit.

"Did the doctor check if you're pregnant?" I ask him, and Jason takes Bear's arm, before he makes him walk into the house, and then into the living room.

I can see that his grip isn't very hard, but this doesn't stop Bear from panicking.

"Calm down, no one's going to hurt you. And answer the question." Jason says, before he sits on another couch, and he gestures for me to sit next to him.

"Doctor Chris said that it's a bit too early to know, and that I should go back to the pack hospital in a few days." Bear explains.

"He also said that in this situation, he would usually give someone the medicine that will make sure that they won't get pregnant.

But he doesn't have any more of them, because apparently Denver doesn't allow him to buy it." He says.

"I will talk with Denver to see if I can convince him to let you have one. If it's not too late for that already." I say.

"Alright, I should go now I just wanted to tell Jason all of this." Bear says, then he stands up, and goes out of the living room.

I would have stopped him, to ask for his phone number, but I'm pretty sure that I already have it, since he's an Omega, and I used to know all of them.

I take my phone out, and I call Denver, because I don't want to waste any time with this, I just wish that Bear came here earlier.

"Hey. Did Bear tell you everything?" Denver asked me, and I groan angrily.

"Come to my house, you're in a lot of trouble." I tell him, and he stays quiet for a while, before he sighs in annoyance, then he lets out a chuckle.

"I will be there soon." He tells me, and then he hangs up.

We wait on him for a lot longer than I thought that we will have to wait, and when he comes here, he seems to be a bit confused by the fact that I'm angry at him.

I let him come inside of the house, and I quickly lead him towards the living room.

"Why are you angry at me?" Denver asks me.

"Bear told me that the doctor can't give him the medicine that will prevent him from getting pregnant.

Because you told him that he's not allowed to buy it." I say, hoping that he will tell me that he didn't say anything like that.

"Well, they're not legal in this pack anymore, and it wasn't just my decision, so we have to hope that Bear didn't get pregnant." Denver tells me, and I have to resist the urge to hit him.

I decide that I shouldn't do that, and I groan loudly, before I go up the stairs.
