For many years they had survived in this dangerous land, but now only fifty thousand people remained. The humans fiercely defended their land, determined to keep their ancestral home against the supernatural attack. But they knew they could not last much longer on their own.
Not with the sinister Kingdom of Rorvik to the north, home to an army three times the size of Niameda's. And to the south, there was the mysterious Kingdom of Umbris, with its one hundred and fifty thousand people. He had tried to negotiate with the leaders of Rorvik, offering them land, wealth, and even his daughter's hand in marriage, but the brutal ruler, King Morgrim, had only laughed in his face.
