*** Alastor's POV ***

"Charlie." I found the demoness in her own office fidgeting with a big idea board covered in crayon drawings and red string.

"Alastor! What can I help you with?" She turned to me smiling and putting the paper in her hand down on her desk.

"I would like you to let everyone know that the top floor of the hotel is off-limits for all of tomorrow. Nobody is to so much press the elevator button." I informed her.

"Oh uh, thats fine, but may I ask why?"

"A-hah, no." I didn't have any desire to discuss my plans with the princess of hell, so I just walked right out after that. I had a lot to do since I wanted to completely clear my schedule for tomorrow.

*** Your POV ***

To say you were tentative about the date was an understatement. And you couldn't help wondering who this somebody that convinced him otherwise could possibly be, its not like he acted overly close with anyone in the hotel. He was friendly with everyone, but none of it seemed to go beyond surface level upon second glance.

Regardless, Alastor had told you he would come find you around 6pm the next day, so you started to prepare for your date a couple hours prior. You pulled out a high neck black dress, with a shorter skirt, and put on some comfortable flats. Embellishing your outfit with silver earrings that resembled bird skulls and a few bracelets and rings. Finishing the whole thing off with a simple half up do and your favorite perfume. It was a simple, but cute outfit.

The whole time you were trying to tell yourself not to get your hopes up. That it was just Alastor being nice or even just doing something for his own entertainment. But it wasn't working, you still found yourself wondering wistfully as to what he could possibly have planned. Stolas's words from the other night didn't help either.

A little before six, you heard that familiar rhythmic knock, and went to answer it, taking a deep breath before unlocking the door. Alastor was wearing a reverse color scheme, with a black suit and red accents, no doubt to match your own. He looked incredible, his now red gloves emphasizing every movement of his elegant fingers. The two tone of his hair framing his sculped face like a picture frame. It was hard to look away from, even more so as a light dusting of blush appeared on his face as he looked you over, offering you his hand.

"My, oh my, mademoiselle, truly spectacular!" He twirled you around and you couldn't help yourself, entering the spin with all of your dancing grace making yourself giggle in the process.

"Oh stahp, flattery will get you no where." You smiled despite your small gnawing doubts.

"Well it did earn me that smile, so I its clearly getting me somewhere." Alastor teased, before pulling you back expertly placing your arm so it was resting on his own. He lead you to the elevators making you wonder even more what his plans could be. Once you were in and the doors closed, he twirled his cane with his fingers then pressed the very top elevator button with the butt of it.

"We are going.... up?" You asked.

"Yes dear. I have quite the little surprise prepared for you." Alastor was clearly using the static effect on his voice to make it sound nonchalant, but the smugness in his smile betrayed him. Whatever it was he was mighty proud of himself.

You waited in trepidation until the elevator made its way all the way up to the very top floor with a soft ding. It felt like forever until the sliding doors pulled themselves apart, but the moment they did your jaw dropped in a gasp, forcing you to cover your mouth with your hand.

Alastor had made the entire top floor of the hotel, look like a street from 1920's New Orleans. Complete with mini trees, bright street lights and vendors. Each room resembled a different bright colored building and the ceiling was painted with bright stars that twinkled jovially. All the cafe's and shops were manned by Alastor's shadow men who happily waved at the two of you calling you over to try their beignets or gumbo. At the end of the hall where the shared lounge area was supposed to be you could see what looked like a small park with its own little pond and two seater swing attached to a tree. The whole thing was beyond breath taking.
