*** Your POV ***

Its been a few days since the last meeting with the V's at this point. You and and Alastor spent another day to yourselves after that, much to the annoyance of Charlie.

As Alastor had suspected the "social visit" was where a bunch of TV and news footage about the collaboration came from - with a V-prominent spin on them. You didn't know the details of all of it, but it seems like Charlie was not necessarily happy with the message they were spreading but the Vs had a propensity for promote first ask details later, so the last meeting - where the Valentino problem happened - was supposed to be for correcting that.

The bigger issue you had to deal with, was that Charlie has been furious with the both of you. Alastor for blowing up like that and you for blowing her off. Alastor was still reluctant in getting his own phone and you were starting to see why, he would never hear the end of it otherwise. For better or worse, she didn't quite have the audacity to complain about it directly, instead preferring acts of passive aggressiveness such as making up reasons to force Alastor into joining one of the hotel activities for "anger management issues." Personally you thought Alastor did not have anger management issues, it was the V's who had Valentino management issues that Alastor was about to oh so generously fix for them. But when you brought that up she didn't seem to be convinced.

Stolas had called earlier, though it wasn't much a of a conversation. You picked up, the owl yelled "I'm coming over, bitch!" and hung up. Apparently Alastor had promised him a drink because of the time you were not feeling well. When asked why, Alastor called him a "quite the reliable fellow" and "figured I'd get to know him since he is your friend". This warmed your heart, and you were very much looking forward to it.

Today, however, the princess had her sights on you. Charlie had decided to bring up all of the records that Vaggie had kept of people checking into the hotel during the few days that you were gone, and of course they were not organized or filled out properly. You had no idea somebody else was even filling in for you, nevermind that there were records to fix, so Charlie literally brought this up now just to be petty about your absence.

"Uh, I can get those done tomorrow morning, Stolas is coming over in a bit." You informed her.

"We need them for tomorrows activities!" Charlie said looking all kinds of chipper.

You almost wanted to tell her that you didn't have to work here anymore and she could shove it. But to be frank she had a point in a way - you two did just kind of bail on life, twice, - and you did want to keep working at the hotel to have some cash of your own, at least until you could get the apothecary idea figured out with Rosie. Not that you needed for much with Alastor, but you did want to be able to buy him gifts and things.

So you moseyed your way to the desk and started going through the records, calling up the different rooms in the cases where something wasn't filled out properly to get the correct information. Stolas walked in looking positively beaming, not even bothering to knock. Instead just swinging the hotel doors open with an "I'm hhhheeerreeee!" before spotting you shuffling through papers and bounding over.

"Whats going on here, not off work yet?" He asked looking over the papers, even picking one of them up and straightening it out, looking it over at the end of his outstretched hand. If it was written in ink the owl couldn't help himself, he had to read it.

"Hey birdie!" You greeted him happily but not able to stifle the annoyed sigh, "The boss lady has decided these records that were just sitting around really need to be corrected and filed tonight."

"Oh dear, you think you'll be long? I brought presents." He gave a little hoot and materialized some bottles in his hands.

"Shouldn't be too much longer now." You said counting up the remaining folders, "Alastor should be at the bar if you wanna start without me. I'll be over when I'm done."
