*** Your POV ***

You were tidying up after a client came into your apothecary with a large bite wound on their arm. It was a simple enough fix, and they were on their way after paying you with a vial of blood.

Rosie helped you put it together after the war had settled, having found a quaint little space near the center of cannibal town. It was exactly as you imagined it, rustic cabin vibes with many shelves laden with whatever you may possibly need. Alastor was also incredibly supportive. In his honor you had an old school radio sitting on your front desk, right along side some polaroids of your wedding.

It was a small ceremony with just your and Alastor's friends, but beautiful nonetheless and you two had bailed on life again afterwards for a whole month. Going on a small tour of the pride ring together.

The door bell jingled merrily.

"One second!" You called out, needing a few more moments to put away the bandages you used on the last client. Once that was done you walked out, looking down and dusting yourself off a little as you made your way to the front.

You were expecting another customer, but instead you were met with your husband who was smiling at you brilliantly. Alastor was wearing his red suit, with a black lilly in the front pocket. He was holding his cane in front of him, with the black wedding band twinkling on his finger. He let go of the cane making it disappear to spread his arms for you. Without a second thought you bounded up to Alastor, letting him pick you up and kiss you, twirling you around as he did so.

As you worked on setting up your apothecary, Alastor went back to broadcasting regularly. He created a brand new tower, separate from the hotel. It being an unrelated entity, he had freedom to do what he wanted, so he would put on shows about different things going on in hell. Sometimes it was just morning news, other times it was music or horror stories, and once in a while somebody would make themselves deserving enough to land themselves a guest role. Ozzie as promised would sometimes provide him with scum to take care off, helping him keep the lust ring free of Valentino copy cats.

Alastor also made a habit of making call outs to you during his broadcasts. "For any ailments, insomnia, bites or battle wounds please visit my darling wife at Y/n's Apothecary in Cannibal town!" He would announce during any commercial segments. Or he would put on a songs devoted specially to you, usually singing those himself. It was incredibly sweet and you listened to all of them as you worked.

Then he would come pick you up every evening, though he was a little early today.

"Hello starlight." You greeted Alastor, wrapping your arms around his neck.

"Hello sunshine, did you have a good day?"

"Every day is a good day when married to you." You smiled giving him another kiss before he could lower you down, "I do have a present for you though!"

You turned to flip the sign on your door to closed. You didn't have any more appointments and you didn't want any walk-ins now that Alastor was here. Then you practically skipped over to your desk and opened a drawer where you had put the special present you ordered over three weeks ago now. Only today did the crafter come back up here to give it to you. It was a small red box with black ribbons which you handed opened to show Alastor.

The inside held an item that almost almost looked like a ring, but it was wider and had hinges on one side allowing it to open then close together using magnets. The design of it was that of a pine forest, on the bottom and stars on top going all the way around when it was closed. Before Alastor had a chance to understand you motioned for him to bend over and he obliged, letting you clasp the decoration around the base of his left antler.
