Chapter Fourty One: Transformation

"I..i..i'm the Uppermoon Six!, i'm....i'm amazing...i can't lose to an ugly Daken!!." said Daki wailing and crying,she had never felt more humiliated in her life....she had lost to that half-human weakling!. " If you are an Uppermoon......then why are you holding your head?." retorted Tanjiro, he couldn't believe that he was seeing a demon throwing a tantrum. Tengen arrived at the moment that Tanjiro had decapitated Daki, and the Sound Hashira was impressed by Tanjiro's flashy move, and Tanjiro was glad that Tengen arrived and he hoped that the others will arrive soon because he was going to need backup. Tengen started to wonder why Daki wasn't disintegrating and turning to ash. Tanjiro said that he will find out soon, as Daki started calling out to her brother. And then a new demon emerged from the stump of Daki's neck and grew out of her body. "My plan worked, you couldn't hide anymore couldn't you?" said Tanjiro as the new demon emerge from his sister.

The demon whose name was Gyutaro was a hideous looking man, he was a tall man with messy and unruly green hair and sickly yellow eyes with orange sclera with the kanji (Upper Six) written in them and a gray complexion speckled with black blotches, he also had a very strange anatomy, his upper torso, arms and legs were well defined and muscular but the rest of his body was almost skeletal with his pelvis jetting out at an unnatural angle. And his spine was visible through his back and he stood hunched over and his then eyes were slanted drastically downwards at the sides giving him a permanently haggard gaze, he also had what appeared to be black ink-like markings in the form of black spots over his body and a flowing water-like pattern on his face, and he had black finger and toe nails as well as a set of sharp interlocking teeth, he also didn't wear much clothing, just a pair of baggy blue pants and seven pieces of patterned red cloth to decorate his body, one large one around his neck and three smaller ones around each arm, Gyutaro was a very ugly man.

Tengen rushed forward to decapitate the new threat, but the demons vanished before his sword could reach them. When Tengen turned around he stared in horror at the sight of two demons. Daki's brother calmed her crying and healed her severed head instantly. Tengen attacked the new demon, blocking his blow and sustaining a cut to the head. As they faced each other, Gyutaro complimented Tengen's face, body and musculature. When the demon claimed that Tengen receives much attention from women, he clawed himself in envy, telling the Sound Hashira to die a horrendous death!. Daki then told her brother that they are more Demon Slayers, and asked him to kill Tanjiro who beheaded her and claimed that she tried to do her best but "Everyone got in my way and bullied me". Gyutaro called hurting Daki unforgivable and prepared to exact his revenge!, while threatening that Tengen and Tanjiro will spin around as they die "Because my name is Gyutaro!"

Gyutaro hurled his Kamas toward Tengen, causing a large explosion. As Tanjiro watched from the sidelines, he saw the flying Kamas boomerang back inside and suddenly smelled Tengen's blood!. But fortunately and too his relief, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke had arrived to assist. The three Demon slayers were standing alone on the rooftops, frustrated because they fell behind and lost Tengen but luckily they were able to find him when Zenitsu heard the sound of the explosion, Zenitsu had ran to whare he heard the explosion and Nezuko and Inosuke followed right behind him. Tanjiro instructed his sister and their friends to help Tengen. Having stopped the attack with his blade, Gyutaro saw this and took the time to compliment Tengen as a "Good-looking guy" and noting that the frightened bystanders next to him must think he is their savior. Tengen agreed and added that he even has three wives.

Infuriated, Gyutaro angrirly called that unforgettable and infused his blood with his Kamas before using Blood Demon Art: Flying Blood Sickles to slice Tengen into pieces. Analyzing the razor-thin blood blades Tengen decided to deploy bombs to blow the demons away and destroy the floor. The Hashira landed at the bottom and urged the civilians inside to flee. Seeing this, Gyutaro made his blood blades bend and chace after Tengen, forcing the Sound Hashira to fend them off as they lock onto him. As he fights, Tengen realized just how strong the Uppermoon Six siblings were and wondered if they would both die if Gyutaro was beheaded instead?. Through his hearing, Tengen scanned the house using his echolocation and was relieved to see that everyone had fleed. He hurled more bombs into the air and used his sword to direct and activate them, destroying the house and knocking Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke to the ground. After the blast, Tengen jumped to survey the damage and saw a ball of obi land unharmed. As he remarked that this mission won't be easy. Daki unfurled her obi while Gyutaro stated, "The thing about us is that we're two people in one!".
