Chapter Thirty:Insult

As Tanjiro positioned his Nichirin sword, about to cut his neck, the boy with tuberculosis who had entered into his realm of subconscious was being guided by the fragments of Tanjiro's spirit, which appeared as little fire spirits. Tanjiro's realm was breathtakingly beautiful, the ground was crystal clear water and the sky was clear and blue, Tanjiro had a beautiful soul. The little spirits had led the boy to Tanjiro's spiritual core which was hidden inside the sun, but he couldn't bring himself to destroy it, but then Tanjiro had finally pushed the blad into his neck, which opened up the realm to his subconscious as he began to awaken from his dream, the boy tasked with Tanjiro began to fall into the abyss but he was saved by Tanjiro's spirit.

Meanwhile the girl who was tasked with Inosuke became lost in his realm of subconscious, which manifested as a dim and creepy cave, which made the girl very uneasy and then she screamed in terror as she was chased by an angry and animalistic Inosuke!. While the boy who was tasked with Zenitsu was stuck in his realm of subconscious, which manifested as pitch-black emptiness he got lost in, but then the boy heard something strange!.....he heard the sound of metal clapping and then Zenitsu appeared with the most angry and menacing look on his face, wielding the hugest pair of garden shears he had ever seen!.

"No one is welcome here except for my precious Nezuko, you fealty parasite!" screamed Zenitsu, he was angry at the "parasite" for invading his dream. The boy ran for his dear life and his clothes got shredded as he barely escaped Zenitsu's wrath!.

Enmu was looking into Tanjiro's dream when he saw Yoriichi!.

"Oh what is this? what is this feeling?....i'm trembling with fear but it's not my own!, it's lord Muzan!" thought Enmu.....just the mear sight of Yoriichi was enough to make the Muzan cells inside of him to go crazy and panic!. Enmu's panic had caught Muzan's attention, so he decided to check on Enmu and see what he was seeing, and when he looked through Enmu, and saw his arch nemesis Yoriichi.....the Demon Lord had started to panic as well.....he broke down and started having a painc attack!.

"Oh honey are you ok?" a woman asked.

"Are you alright son?" asked a man. Muzan was now disguising himself as a little boy, and was with his other family, a childless couple that fell for his disguise and adopted him as their son.

"i'm just a little tired that's all" said Muzan. Even though he is dead that man still continues to haunt him from beyond the grave.

Tanjiro did it!.....he finally did it!, he had slashed his throat and finally woke up!. He was relieved to see that his sister Nezuko was safe, but their fellow Demon Slayers were still fast asleep and the children were still tied to their wrists!. Tanjiro also noticed that his own wrist was tied to a burnt rope that gave off the scent of a demon. Tanjiro remembered the ticket, he smelled it which confirmed his suspension that they had fallen into a Blood Demon Art. Tanjiro tasked Nezuko with burning the ropes with her flames, but he still failed to awaken Zenitsu and Inosuke.

And then suddenly, Tanjiro was attacked by the girl tasked with Kyojuro's dream!. She tried to stab him with her awl. She was enraged that her chance at a happy dream was ruined, Zenitsu and Inosuke's attempted killers joined her,and she noticed the boy that was tasked with Tanjiro and urged him to join too, but he didn't respond. Tanjiro quickly knocked out all his attackers unconscious. He felt terrible for them, he knew how they felt......he also wanted to stay in his dream. The only one who remained was the boy with tuberculosis who meet Tanjiro and explained how his soul saved him, the boy thanked Tanjiro and regretted his willingness to hurt him to escape his illness.

Then suddenly the rest of the surviving Lower Moons appeared!.

"We have come here to make you an offer Tanjiro Tsugikuni, join us and become a demon and your father will be absoulved of his sins" said one of the Lower Moons.

"You're scum that's all i have to say to you.......i will not become a monster that harms people.....i will save my father with my own hands!" roared Tanjiro as he drew his sword and rushed forward. The Lower Moons tried to challenge Tanjiro but he cut them down one by one.

"Thank you because of you i have become stronger" Tanjiro said as he bowed to the decaying bodys of his enemies.

After defeating the demons Tanjiro rushed outside and was immediately repulsed at horrible and strong demonic scent in the wind, the maroon swordsman climbed up and confronted Lower Moon One Enmu on top of the locomotive. Enmu was stunned to see Tanjiro waking up from his dream. The demon started taunting Tanjiro, saying that he could have shown the Demon Slayer a nightmare where his family dies again or a dream where he meets his father again. Enmu expressed the sick pleasure he gets from watching people suffer from nightmares and seeing the pain in their faces, Enmu then noted the complex process of setting up this specific Blood Demon Art, with the tickets purchased containing his blood, his victims would fall fast asleep and the crime unnoticed, but Enmu was perplexed at how Tanjiro had managed to wake up!.

Tanjiro was enraged.......how dare he tamper with his family memories and intrude into his soul!. Enmu on the other hand was overjoyed, he saw the hanafuda earrings.....his target had came to him.....he can now claim more of Muzan's blood!. Tanjiro came at Enmu with the strongest form of moonbreathing that he knew Sixth Form: Prepetual Night, Lonely Moon-Incessant. And charged forward but Enmu countered with Blood Demon Art: Whispers Of Forced Unconscious Hypnosis,and the attack landed forcing Tanjiro to lose consciousness. But Tanjiro suddenly awakened and attacked, forcing Enmu to dodge his slashes buy using his Blood Demon Art constantly. But Tanjiro keepet waking up and regaining consciousness each time, making Enmu realize that Tanjiro was constantly committing suicide to awaken each time.

Enmu Then forced Tanjiro into a nightmare. Tanjiro saw his father hanging from chains....his body tortured and mutilated!.

"You are a pathetic son!.....you let our family die.......and you couldn't even save me, you should just roll over and die" Michikatsu said t his son in a cold tone. Instead of being sad or afraid, Tanjiro because furious.

"How dare you put those words in my father's mouth" yelled Tanjiro as he leaped into the air and decapitated Enmu's head using first form: Dark Moon Evening Palace. But Tanjiro did not celebrate his victory. Enmu was the Lower Moon One so killing him shouldn't be this easy, so using the transparent world, Tanjiro started looking around and to his horror, Enmu had fused with the train! and then Enmu's head grew flesh and adhered to the Mugen Train's carriage. Lower Moon One mocked Tanjiro for believing that he had succeeded as he happily mentioned that he had fused with the train while Tanjiro and the other Demon Slayers slept!.

With the Two Hundred passengers at his mercy, Enmu challenged Tanjiro to save them by himself from being devoured, realizing that he could only protect two cars at a time, Tanjiro begged his sister to wake up their friends. At that moment, Nezuko had succeeded in waking Inosuke, who was bursting through the roof reinvigorated and declared himself "Lord Inosuke" he then jumped into the the now fleshy, demonic train carriage and sliced the pieces with Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting.
