Chapter Thirty three: Set your Heart Ablaze

Tanjiro continued to fend off Uppermoon. Both Tanjiro and Akaza healed the damage that they had sustained. That flashback had gave Tanjiro an idea, he was going to try and switch between Moon Breathing and the Hinokami Kagura. Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kyojuro were shocked at Tanjiro's transformation, he had turned into a demonic version of himself.

Akaza continued goading Tanjiro.....that boy's foolishness will cost him his life. And then with out warning a solar flame engulfed Tanjiro's sword as Akaza looked on confused at his determination. Tanjiro then took a fighting stance.....he was going to fulfill his duties as a Demon Slayer.....he wasn't going to let anyone die!.

"Hinokami Kagura: Sun Flower Thrust!" screamed Tanjiro. The demon grew excited, amazed at Tanjiro's continual spirit and determination, and countered with Destructive Death: Annihilation Type. Tanjiro rushed forward and met Akaza's numerous shockwaves. In the ensuing chaos, Tanjiro slashed Akaza's arm in half and impaled his chest, Tanjiro then used the third form of MoonBreathing to destroy the rest of Akaza's body leaving nothing but apart of his torso and his head.

"i'm going to send you off with the first ever attack i learned from my father, make sure to burn it into your soul so that you won't forget!" .said Tanjiro but before he could strike the killing blow, Tanjiro had started coughing up blood!......his body was hurt due to not being used to his demonic power yet.

Akaza took this chance to regenerat his body and run away. Tanjiro looked up and saw that the sun was rising, and in sheer desperation began chasing after Akaza.

"Get back here you coward!" yelled Tanjiro as he coughed up more blood and hurled his sword at Akaza, piercing his chest. Making the Uppermoon furious.....he was fleeing from the sun not from Tanjiro, and then Tanjiro collapsed and lost consciousness due to not being used to his demonic powers yet. Kyojuro asked his Kasugai Crow to go to headquarters and tell them to send in the Kakushi and to call en urgent Hashira meeting.......to decide Tanjiro and Nezuko's fate.

As Kyojuro's Kasugai Crow informed the Demon Slayer Corp of the news of the Tsugikuni siblings being part demon and of Akaza's appearance. The news quickly reached the other Hashira who were informed by their Kasugai Crows. Shinobu and Kanao, reacted with sadness, they had become friends with the Tsugikuni siblings during their stay at the Butterfly Mansion.......but now that they knew they were half-demons, the Kocho sisters began fearing for Tanjiro and Nezuko's life. Mitsuri on the other hand was shocked......Tanjiro and Nezuko were so cute and adorable how could they be half-demons?!. While Muichiro didn't respond to the news at all, he wasn't sure how to feel about this information.......when he first met the Tsugikuni siblings back at the Hashira meeting, Muichiro was a little shocked and disturbed by the uncanny similarities between himself and Tanjiro, and it made him wonder if they could be family, could the Tsugikuni be long lost relatives of his, but if they were sentenced to death, he will never know. Tengen on the other hand couldn't believe that Tanjiro had defeated and almost killed an Upper Rank. While Obanai made it clear that he won't let Tanjiro and Nezuko live another day, Gyomei prayed for the siblings souls while Genya was just shocked.......i mean how was it even possible for a human and demon to have kids together, how could it happen?!. Sanemi reaffirmed his hatred of demons and his promise to annihilate them all....it didn't matter to him that they were half-human, because to him a demon is still a demon even if it was some half-human, half-demon hybrid abomination!!!. While a surprised Giyu quietly accepted the news. While the Oyakata Kagaya Ubuyashiki was relieved to hear that all two hundred passengers had survived Tanjiro was such a remarkable child.
