Chapter Fourty Six: Someone's Dream

While walking through the torn remains of Yoshiwara, a Kakushi was shocked to see the extent of the battle before climbing over a roof and discovering Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke. While back at the Demon Slayer Hq,the increasingly ill Kagaya was overjoyed to discover that an Upper Rank has been killed, the first in a hundred years, believing it to be an omen that fate was about to change dramatically and that Muzan Kibutsuji will fall to the current generation of Demon Slayers.

Finding himself within the Infinite Castel, Akaza realized that his summoning meant that an Upper Rank demon has been killed by the Demon Slayers. Leaping off the edge of the rooms, Akaza descended to the lower regions of the alternate dimension. He flew past a large water palace and eventually landed at the bottom. As the castle began to shift, a moving platform caught Akaza and elevated his position. Several giant doors opened as they sensed his presence and the demon was transported high above the moving rooms, where he found himself passing through an endlessly large maze-like room fulled with pillars. A biwa's strum suddenly echoed and Akaza was taken to a platform in front of the Biwa Woman whose name was Nakime who controlled the castle.

On the platform with Akaza is an ornate pot, as Akaza looked on, a voice from inside recognized his presence and emerged. A djinn-like demon, made up of infantile hands and a distended body emerged from the pot. "It is lord Akaza Oh my! I'm glad to see you are well. It's been about ninety years hasn't it? I'd begun to think you were defeated. My chest was tight from worrying." said that odd jinn like and fish like demon whose name was Gyokko the Uppermoon Five of the Twelve Kizuke. Akaza was annoyed at Gyokko's words, crouching away from them, an anxious and skittish demon commented on Gyokko's mistaken judgment of counting time past, the fearful demon who was Uppermoon Four of the Twelve Kizuke Hantengu, corrected Gyokko and stated how it has actually been one hundred and thirteen years since they were last summoned before fearfully ranting over the odd number of years not being evenly divisible.

Upper Three asked the Biwa Woman about Muzan's presence, the Biwa Demon answered that their master hasn't arrived yet. " and it couldn't be Kokushibo because he is being held prisoner in the fortress" said Akaza. For two years Kokushibo had been held prisoner in the Infinite Castel, ever since Muzan massacred his family, the demon lord has been trying to turn Michikatsu back into a loyal pawn, but so far nothing has been working, so for two years Muzan has allowed Akaza to feast on Kokushibo as well as giving Akaza more of his blood, Akaza didn't know why his master was favoring him all of a sudden but he liked it. Akaza's train of thought was abruptly stopped by a cheerful voice, it was Douma the Uppermoon Two of the Twelve Kizuke. Douma was a demon who looked like a priest with blond hair, his most distinct feature was his rainbow colored eyes. Douma put his hand on his subordinate's shoulder and asked if he was also worried about him, since he to was also worried about his "Cherished comrades.", Gyokko greeted Douma who returned his acknowledgement by commenting on his new pot, mentioning that an old pot he was given now had a severed woman's head on top as an additional decoration, with Gyokko commending his creativity!.

Angered at being touched, Akaza demanded that his Douma remove his arm, as he turned to face him,Upper Three repeated his order and punched off his superior's bottom jaw!. Though Hantengu was frightened, Douma easily healed the massive wound and slyly comments on the punch's significantly increased power over last time, which only served to incense Akaza further. "His lordship has just arrived and he has heard everything" said Nakime, that made everyone tense. Muzan Kibutsuji stood above the Upper Ranks at the ceiling of the Infinite Castel. " Kokushibo has gone haywire, Gyutaro has died, killed by the Demon Slayers, and worst of all Kokushibo's half-human brats are still alive!, and you still haven't found the blue spiderlily or the Ubuyashiki's!" said Muzan fulled with anger, he was growing tired of their incompetence. As the Demon King was preforming a chemical experiment, Uppermoon Two Douma, started to apologize due to being the one who introduced the former Uppermoon Six to the Twelve Kizuke, Douma even offered to gouge his eyeballs as atonement, but the Demon Progenitor denied his penance.
