As the pair embarked on their quest to unearth the emperor's hidden computers earmarked for use against the Fremen, a sense of urgency mingled with frustration. "They've got to be somewhere," Leonara muttered, her voice tinged with determination, as she deftly sliced open yet another cargo box, revealing nothing but mundane supplies: guns and large portions of water.
"We could sabotage them," Feyd suggested, his tone betraying a hint of rebellion. Leonara's gaze met his, a silent inquiry lingering in her eyes. "You're willing to do that?" she asked, her disbelief tempered with a flicker of curiosity. Feyd's grin was laced with rueful determination as he nodded. "Those Fremen are innocent people."
A low whistle escaped Leonara's lips. "You've undergone quite the transformation in these past months," she remarked, her tone a blend of surprise and admiration. "The first time we crossed paths, I was half-convinced you would gut me."
"I seem to recall it was you who had a dagger pressed against my neck," Feyd retorted, a playful glint in his eyes. The memory hung between them, a testament to the shifting sands of time.
Leonara laughed, the sound carrying a sense of nostlagia. "Touché. It feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it?" she mused, a nostalgic smile gracing her lips.
Feyd's smile softened, his gaze lingering on her. "You've changed too, you know," he observed, his voice tinged with a mixture of wonder and affection.
Leonara arched an eyebrow, a curious glint in her eyes. "I have?"
"You're less... Bene Gesserit," Feyd remarked, his words measured yet laden with sincerity. Leonara's laughter bubbled forth, a melodic sound that filled the space between them.
"How so?" she queried, her curiosity piqued by his observation. Feyd's expression softened, a hint of vulnerability seeping through his facade.
"When we first met that night you nearly killed me, you exuded a passion, a fire that captivated me," he confessed, his words carrying the weight of unspoken truths. "But when you were introduced as my fiancée, you seemed... distant, restrained. It felt as though you were veiling your true self behind the guise of the Bene Gesserit."
Leonara's silence spoke volumes, her thoughts swirling with introspection. Feyd's touch against her arm brought her back to the present, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the uncertainty.
"You're different," he continued, his voice gentle yet firm. "You showed me compassion, you cared for me...traits that defy the stoicism often associated with the Bene Gesserit."
Leonara's response was hesitant, her voice tinged with vulnerability. "Yeah, well...the other Bene Gesserit use the Voice to their advantage," she admitted, her gaze flickering with a mixture of guilt and apprehension. "But for me, it's different. The after-effects...they scare me. I don't fully understand the extent of my power."
Feyd cocked his head, his expression a curious blend of concern and intrigue. "What's the deal with your power, anyway?" he inquired, his tone gentle yet probing.
Leonara's sigh was heavy with the weight of unspoken secrets. "I don't know," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "There were signs during our training...objects respond to my voice, doors open if I command it. It's not normal."
He remained silent, a weighty silence settling between them as she straightened, determination etched across her features. "Let's move on now, we still have a computer to find," she declared, her voice steady despite the apprehension lingering in the air.
Together, they sealed the box back up and turned their attention to the last container. Shadows danced around it, casting eerie patterns on its metal exterior adorned with chains and locks. "This has got to be it," Leonara whispered, her voice barely above a murmur.
