The next day, you get ready for your appointment and then head out. When you get home, Nico greets you with Bianca in his arms. "So, how did it go." "Dr. McArthur says that I'm pregnant." "That's great." He leads you to the dining room and has you take a seat. He puts Bianca in her high chair and then walks into the kitchen. He comes back with two plates of mashed potatoes with barbecue chicken and one small bowl with just mashed potatoes. "Dada." Bianca screeches. She holds her hands out for her bowl. Nico pits the plates down and kisses Bianca on the nose. "That's me. Dada. The son of Hades and a monster's worst nightmare." She giggles. "I'm hungry." Except it sounded more like I'm hunggies. "Here you go beautiful. Mashed potatoes. Your favorite." He places her bowl in front of her and hands her a spoon. Bianca starts shoveling her food into her mouth. You and Nico start eating as well. "So, when do you find out the gender?" "In three to four months. But the thing is, this time you don't get to find out until the birth." "What. No fair. I have to wait nine months." "Yep. It's only fair. I'm the one who has to deliver the baby." "Mommy, Daddy. Where do babies come from." You and Nico I momentarily freeze. "Umm. They come from magic sweetheart." (A/n: that is true 😏) Bianca's quiet for a moment and you wonder if she's buying it. "Okay." She shrugs and goes back to her food.
After dinner, you and Nico clean the kitchen and then get Bianca ready for bed. "But Mommy, I don't wanna go to bed." "I don't wanna clean the house but I have to." "No fair." "Here how about this. If you take your bath and get to bed in thirty minutes, Daddy and I will read you two bedtime stories." "Oh, goody. Let's do it." She runs off to the bathroom and you and Nico go to her room to get her pajamas. After her bath and her two stories, she's fallen asleep. You and Nico high five then go to your room to get ready for bed.
