"Nico, get ready. We're going out." He looks up from his phone. "Why?" "Because the kids have a doctors appointment." "And?" You shoot him a look. "Oh. It's already been a year?" "Mm hm." He gets up from the couch and heads over to the two of you's room. He comes out a few minutes later. "Kay. I'm ready." "Let's go." In the car Bianca asks you, "Mommy, why is Daddy coming with us?" "Because he wants to." "OK if you say so." When you get to the doctors, are you waiting in the waiting room. Once the nurse calls you guys, the kids get fidgety. You and Nico fill out a bunch of forms, and then the doctor comes in. "Okay, who's first." The kids burst into tears. "Bianca how about you go first." "But Mommy, I don't wanna shot." "If you guys do this too much fuss, we'll take you out for ice cream." "Fine." All the kids go and then you think the doctor and leave. Nico drives you guys to the kids, favorite ice cream place and you all order ice cream. When you get home, you snuggle up on the couch to watch a movie with popcorn, and then end up falling asleep on the couch.
