The quest part two

Previously in the quest part one.....

Luke's POV

Seven children of the famed seven shall band together

to find the stolen item of the Lord of weather

without this item, a war will wage

because of the chaos, lords rage

the children must go to the land of sorrow

and the key to life they must borrow

the daughter of beauty and the son of death

must save the twin from his final breath

the trial will test a couple's love,

and if they succeed, there will be no war above. 

We've been fighting monsters for hours. While running, I hear a scream. I turned around and Charlie is on the ground bleeding. I turned to him and gets Cecily and the others. Let me back up a little bit...

We were all discussing what the key to life is. If Charlie is going to die, we need to revive him. Cecily suggested the physician's cure. If it worked on Leo, it has to work on Charlie. Leo is letting us have the Argo two for the trip. Cecily is going to control it since she is Jason's daughter, and when we go on water, Zoe and Selena will control it. Before we start on our journey, we're going to begin. On Mount Olympus. When we get to Mount Olympus, we are in awe. We've been there before with our parents but every time we're just mesmerized by it. When we get to the throne room, we speak with Lord Zeus. He reveals to us that his master lightning bolt was stolen again. I roll my eyes. He lost it before. How does he keep losing it? He should seriously be in a safer place where people can't steal it. "Luke. I would like you to be respectful. What makes you think I won't smite you? But to answer your question, I did put it in a safe place the thief somehow broke into my secret vault." Oh shit. He can read my mind. "I apologize lord Zeus." "You are forgiven." Apollo then gives us the daisy that we need to see Asclepius. (I think. I haven't read BOO in two months. Wait let me pull it up. OK, I have the e-book. But I'm still not gonna change it.) 

Time skip

When we get to Greece, we go to Asclepius. He gives us the physician's cure. Once we leave, we get back on the Argo two, and start our journey to the doors of death. 

Cecily's POV

I am in my mom's room on the Argo two making plans when Zoe Jackson and Arabella Zhang come into my room. "Hey Zoe, Hey Arabella what's up?" "Umm, I just got my period. Do you have stuff?" Zoe answers. "Same here." "Is it your first time?" They both nod. "Oh, congratulations. Let me see." I get off my bed and go through my bag. Crap. Why did I not pack anything? My period's supposed to come in a few days anyway. "I don't have anything. Let me ask Selena to dock and then we can go to a drugstore or something." "OK." a few minutes later, Zoe, Arabella, and I are at the store. I pick out some tampons, pads, ibuprofen, and a heating pad. I also get some chocolate. "Okay, we have everything. Ready to go." Zoe nods. We go pay for everything and then head back to the ship. "What did you guys get." My loving boyfriend Luke asks me. "Oh, we just needed stuff," I reply being vague. He gets the message and nods. "Okay." When we get to my room, Zoe asks what to do. "Okay so, do you wanna use a pad or tampon?" "Pad," Arabella replies at the same time Zoe says tampon. "Okay." As I say that, I start to feel an all-too-familiar wetness. Shit. I run over to the bathroom and see blood on my underwear. "Well, I just got my period too guys." I grab the bag and open the box of tampons. "Okay, Zoe. Do you know how to use it?" She shakes her head. "Do you want me to show you?" "If you're comfortable with that then yeah." "Okay." We walk over to the bathroom. I show Zoe how to put in the tampon while Arabella puts on a pad. "Got it," Zoe announces. "Good job. It took me a few tries to get it." "Thanks." At that moment, we hear a knock on the door. I go open it. It's Selena and Esperanza "Hi guys." "Hi, we were wondering what's taking you so long." "Oh, well, we're finished. Are we in Epirus yet?" "Yeah." 

Time skip

Arabella's POV

When we all leave the ship, we all prepare for battle. We all have replicas of our parent's weapons. I have a replica of my mom's spatha, Zoe has a smaller version of Riptide, Selena has a dagger like her mom, Esperanza has a tool belt filled with who knows what, Luke has two daggers, Charlie has a black Stygian iron sword, and Cecily has a dagger as well. We start walking towards the house of Hades. While walking, I hear a noise. "Did you guys hear that?" "What?" I hear it again. It's like claws scratching something. "That." "I heard it too." We all look around and out jumps a monster. It's a manticore. We all draw our weapons. After fifteen minutes of fighting, it's gone. As we continue our journey, we keep getting attacked by monsters. So far we've met an empousa, some dracaena, and a group of weird dog-headed men. After what feels like an eternity, we get attacked by something else. It's a chimera. We all start fighting it. We're all tired from all that fighting and we're getting sloppier and sloppier with each swing. All of a sudden I hear a scream. I turn to where it came from and Charlie's on the ground bleeding. Luke filled with anger attacks the chimera and finishes it off. When he's done he turns to Charlie. We all rush to his side.

Charlie's POV

I'm fighting the chimera when all of a sudden I feel pain. Like loads of pain. I fall to the ground. The others rush to my side. "Oh my gods Charlie." My twin brother Luke exclaims. "Cecily, the cure." He holds his hand out to Cecily who has the cure. She fumbles for it in her pocket. "It's not here." I start to see black spots and then everything turns dark.

Selena's POV

"Where could it be," Luke yells at his girlfriend Cecily who's supposed to have the physician's cure. "I have no idea. It must've fallen out of my pocket while we were fighting." I see Charlie stop breathing. "Guys stop fighting Charlie's dead," I announced. Luke starts crying. I have never seen him cry. "This is all your fault, Cecily, if you hadn't lost the cure,  Charlie would be alive." "How is it my fault." "You know what we've done." He then storms off in the opposite direction. 

Zoe's POV

We've been fighting for hours. While fighting a chimera we all hear a scream. Charlie is on the ground bleeding heavily. I don't know how I know this, but he's going to die.

Luke's POV

Cecily can't find the cure. During the time we are arguing, I sense Charlie's death. I start crying. I literally never cry. "This is all your Cecily. If you hadn't lost the cure, Charlie would be alive." I yell at my girlfriend. I don't even hear what she has to say. "You know what. We're done." I break up with her. I walk off in the opposite direction. What did I do? I think. I just broke up with my girlfriend of two years. I love her. I can't believe I did that. After I calm down I walk back over to where the group is. 

Nico's POV

"Charlie just died," I announce. (Y/n)'s been pacing in the living room praying to all the gods for the kid's safe return. "How do you know." "I can sense it. It's part of powers." I get up from the couch and wrap my arms around my wife. "It'll be okay. The kids have the key to life, whatever that is. I'm sure Cecily and Luke will be able to revive him." "I hope you're right."

Charlie's POV

I wake up. I see my grandpa. "Hello, Charlie." "Hi. What's going on." "You just died." "Oh." He takes me over to the garden. "I would revive you, but your brother and his girlfriend are going to revive you." "How do you know." "Us gods can see the future. This is between you and me though. I'm not really supposed to tell you." "Got it." 

Cecily's POV

Luke just broke up with me. I start crying. The younger girls start comforting me. Luke comes back 15 minutes later and apologizes. "I am sorry Cece. It's not your fault. I just can't believe that Charlie is dead. He's my best friend." "I forgive you, Luke. While you were gone, we found the cure. It was on the floor." I take the vile and pour it into Charlie's mouth. After a minute he starts breathing. He blinks a few times and sits up. "hey guys, what did I miss?" "Charlie you died," Luke screams then hugs his brother. "Breathe." Charlie croaks. "Oh, sorry." Luke pulls away.
