But then Five blinked between you and Lila before kicking Lila away causing her to stumble back.
"You are not hurting her, so come on. What are you waiting for? Let's just finish this thing, just you and me" he said as he put his fist up, ready to fight her again.
He was ready to fight Lila to protect you.
"Why are you with him?" Lila looked at you.
"Five is nothing. You're my family. I'd die for you. Would he?" she asked.
"In a heartbeat" you looked at Five, surprise in what he just said.
Was that true?
"Prove it" Lila looked at Five "Lila, calm down. I don't want to fight you" he said "Oh, and why?" she scoffed "Are you scared or what?" she asked "I would gladly get rid of you. If it was not for the fact, that you are dear to the woman I love" your eyes widened at what Five just said. It took you by surprise.
"Do you really think you can defeat me without killing me?" she asked "You can defeat someone without killing them" Five took a step closer to Lila.
"Let's fight" he said.
"No" she whispered as she shook her head before she took a step towards him "This isn't gonna be quick" she said while panting "You're gonna suffer for what you did" she said.
"Lady, I got no idea what you're talking about" he said "Ronnie and Anita Gill" she said before taking a step forward and he shook his head confused "Mean nothing to me" he said "1993, East London. You hog-tied them and you shot them in the head" she said and he think for a bit.
He then furrowed his brows when he realized what she was talking about.
"The flower merchants" he said before his eyes widened in realization as he took a step back "They were your parents?" he said, breathing out.
"And they never did anything to anyone. They didn't deserve to die like that" she said with tears in her eyes.
"You're right, all right?" he said while putting his hands out a little bit "I killed them. But I killed a lot of people over the years. It was all just a job. All right? That was never personal" he said and she let out a laugh "'Never personal' my ass. Yeah, I've killed. It's always, always personal" she said "That's why you're not cut out to be an assassin" he said as he shook his head.
She then pulled out a knife from her boot and pointed it at him "Bet your life on that?" she asked before she started walking towards him making him step backwards.
"Lila, he's right, to be an assassin, you can't feel remorse for killing anyone. No matter who it is. You can't. Nothing can be personal or there can be interferences" you said.
