You and Diego were standing inside a hole that you had duge that was only a couple of feet deep.
The both of you had shovels in your hands, digging up more and more dirt while Elliott's body was off to the side in a wheelbarrow with a sheet covered up the body.
'Cause of the heat, Diego stopped digging as he wipe his forehead.
"So you care to explain while Five was covered in blood?" Diego asked "He made a deal with my mom" you said "So Lila is really your sister?" Diego asked and you nodded "Not by choice" you said.
"So are you coming with Five back to 2019?" Diego asked and you shook your head "No" you said "Why not?" he asked "'Cause Five and I are divorced, it was never my plan in helping him at all. Beside I like my life here" you said "So you and Five are not going to give it a try again?" he asked "No. Beside Five was the one that signed the papers without blinking twice, so he don't want to get back together with me, beside he left me when I really needed him" you said and Diego looked at you.
"He don't love me anymore. Just like me the only feeling he had towards me is hate, so..." you said "You're a bad liar, Y/n. You know that right?" Diego said "What?" you asked.
"You know why he want you near him all the time. Even if you think he don't. I see the way he looks at you. He looks at you like you're his world and you look at him like he's your light and hope. The only thing is, you guys are never looking at each other when you do it. And you don't want to believe it, but you know it's true" Diego said and you looked at him "He cares about you a lot, Y/n. I think he still love you and I think you still love him. I have noticed how you behave towards each other, even so you are both trying your best to show others and each other how much you hate each other, there is still love left" he said "You're wrong" you said "Am I?" he raise a brow which caused you to look at him.
But then you both heard footsteps in the grass behind Diego and the two of you turned toward the sound to see Lila.
"Oh good" Diego said as he kept digging "It's you and your stupid face" he said "Weird time to garden" Lila said as she kept walking towards Diego.
"Can we talk? The truth this time" she said "Oh, I know the truth. You used me, Lila. You're a liar" he said and she shook her head "Oh, come on. What did I really lie about?" she asked "Who you are, who you work for, why you're here, what you want from us. That's all" he said "Yeah, but the rest was true" she said as she moved her arms before she stopped.
"Shut it Lila, you should have told Diego who you were" you snapped "Like you told Five that I was your sister" Lila snapped "That was different" you snapped back.
Diego let out a sigh as he kept digging "Everyone lies, Diego, and...and I was only lying to protect you" Lila said as she took a few steps closer to him.
