Five was in one of the many empty rooms reading your favorite book when he heard the door open and he saw you.
"Have you come to tell me how much I've failed as a husband? And how much I have changed? That I am a coward?" he asked, not looking up from the last chapter of the book.
You let out a sigh as you went further into the room and he put down the book as he finally met your gaze.
"I'm sorry" you whispered, your voice cracking slightly. You tried not to cry but your tears have already appeared in your eyes.
"Are you sure about that?" he asked "Yeah, I'm sorry I've been the opposite of what our marriage needs. I was hoping this plan would go through" you said "Y/n, he is planning to kill us all. Don't say what I think you'll say that we'll all die anyway. None of that matters now" he said.
Your eyes softened with understanding and remorse and you looked down, not wanted to meet his eyes.
"You forgive me?" you asked softly, not really sure if he was being truthful.
You actually wouldn't blame him if he didn't forgive you. You wouldn't forgive yourself.

"I couldn't live with myself and I didn't wanted to go down without you and I on good terms again" he said and you smiled which make him smile back, sending you that loving smile that you have not seeing since you were married.
