Twelve years ago (for you) Nine years ago (For Five)
You were cleaning dishes while Five was playing with your son Sam who was almost a year.
Sam looked a lot like his dad, he had Five's hair and eye color.
When you and Five found out that you were pregnant, you couldn't be happier. And when Sam was born, you felt your life was complete, he was a light in both of your lives. He was the most precious and beautiful thing you both have ever seeing and you didn't think that you would be able to love something that small with your whole heart.
Life had never been better for you and Five, you and your husband had found profound joy in your roles as parents and everything seemed just perfect. Your family had grown closer and the love you shared was palpable.
It was adorable watching your child grow and develop. Sure there was sleepless nights, waking up in the middle of the night when he was crying or you needed to feed him, and endless days of cleaning, but everyday you and Five got to watch the kid's wide-eyed expression at little things.
It is the most exhausted thing to take care of a young child. But you were doing it together. Both you and Five was amazing parents for little Sam.
Both you and Five was raised roughly, not treated kindly. Constant training and always competin. So when you and Five had a kid of your own, you both made a promise to not let your kid grow up like you two did. You will treat them with love and affection, teaching them they're loved equally, no matter what. Spending lovely time with them, bonding, taken them to fun experiences, just to see them smile and have a good life was more than enough for you and Five.
"Love look" Five said which caused you to turn and your eyes widened when you saw Sam on his feet. Five was behind Sam as he was holding his tiny hands while he was walking by himself.
"Oh my God" you smiled "Our little boy is walking" Five said as he support Sam while the little boy by himself used his feet to walk forward.
Five looked down at his little son before he slowly let go of his hands and Sam didn't fell instead he were standing up, all by himself.
Five then walked over to his wife before you both crouched down "Come here, Sweetheart" you said "Come on buddy, you can do it" Five said.
"Come here" you said and Sam started taking another step towards his parents "His first steps" you said with a big smile on your face.
"Come here, you can do it" Five said as Sam starting taking more steps towards his parents.
The two of you opened up your arms as Sam walked closer to you "You can do it Sammy" Five said with a proud smile on his face.
