There's a unique thrill in longing for something with all your heart, dreaming of it constantly. And then, the magic happens - you finally get it.

But for me, what I yearn for isn't just an ordinary thing. It's a precious, adorable little furball. And the catch? I have to wait twelve whole years for it.

For fucking twelve years.

Dogs have never been my thing. Perhaps I was simply unaware of it. That I adore dogs. Until. I was six and for the first I met them. My bestfriend and a little cute puppy Raksha.

On a bright day, Raksha who appeared more like a wolf came running toward me, and I ran away from him like a little cat and he chased me with the yellow roses In his mouth.

Adorable right? Raksha was. His piercing blue eyes had the power to melt anyone's heart. A sibren husky he was. He looked all unique,

To For six years old me. I have never really seen a dog like the Siberian Husky, so those blue eyes fascinated me. Those fur coats in black and white. those straight ears, and the red necktie. The yellow name is etched on it. Raksha.

As Raksha dropped the yellow roses at my feet, fear gripped me, and I sank to the ground like a frightened little chicken. I was worried he might bite me. As he approached, I instinctively crawled backward. But then, to my surprise, he just looked at me with those big, gentle eyes and playfully rolled his tongue, sticking it out. And suddenly he leaned forward and licked my leg. I let out a startled yell. I was a seconds close to burst in tears. Frightened.

Up until the melodic voice completely captured my attention.

" WooF WooF " like now Viru's little barks had all my attention.

He was absolutely adorable, and I couldn't believe that he was finally mine - a dog, just like I had always wanted. Viru barked happily, and I got up from the bed, scooping him into my arms. Placing him gently on my bed, he twirled around with excitement. Then, he climbed onto me, resting his head on my chest just like Raksha used to do.

" Where are you lost? " I heard my wife as she entered with tht stack of cloth.

" Kisi ke khayalo mein " I murmured and she rolled her eyes. Keeping the pile of clothes which she shopped.

"Well, can you please come back to reality and help me with these? Unless you're too busy composing love letters to your imaginary friend." she said and I lay flat on the bed.

" Oh No I'm busy " I could feel her glaring at him as I closed my eyes.

" Well, tell your 'dream girl' to find her own daydreamer. I need your help with these clothes " I heard her saying i tired to hide my smile.
