Opening my eyes, the warm rays of sunlight beamed across my face as I rose up, pushing aside a luxurious blanket away from me. I had little knowledge of what happened after Chad and myself met Grace at Melbourne Airport before slowly going into a relaxing sleep.

I looked around in the room I found myself in to see a rather unfamiliar yet rather beautiful setting around me. The walls were painted a vibrant black colour but images of white designs fixated on the walls. The curtains were a kind of creamy white which matched the giant bookshelf on the opposite to the bed I was on, filled with rows of various types of novels. I smiled as I scanned the bookshelf; Pride and Prejudice, The Great Gatsby and The Hunger Games series was just some of the interesting choices I saw on the shelf and it had felt like a very heavenly place.

"Hey beautiful, you're finally up. How'd the sleep go for you, are feeling fresh and nourished yet?"

"Yeah, I mean it's still pretty wired getting used to the jetlag but I think I'm going to be alright." Smiling, I looked at clock sitting on the bedside table which read 11:00am then looked back at Chad who was already dressed in a brown shirt, long black jeans and silky waterproof jacket. We only just off the plane and already Chad was dressed for a brand new day, what was up with that? He sat on the bed right next to me as she stared into my eyes.

"I just came up to check on how you're doing and see if you need anything? I know I should be with you but I have to go do a couple of things, I'm sorry, I only found out yesterday night when I bought you to bed myself."

"Hey, don't worry about it Chad. I'm sure I'll be fine on my own. But if you took me to sleep, where did you sleep? I thought I would wake up to see your bright smile right next to me."

"After I carried you to the bed, I was on my way to get the remainder of the luggage from the car when I got a phonecall from the coach to talk to him about The Brownlows and when I finished putting the luggage away, I realised that it would be best to sleep on the couch. I didn't want to disturb you when you looked so peaceful sleeping."

"You know I wouldn't have mind if you slept next to me last night. I mean, it would have been quite warm and plus it sure beats sleeping uncomfortably on the couch."

"I guess I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. Anyway, it was good to see you again and don't worry, Grace said she was happy to hang with you today. I'll see you whenever I get home Carmen." He said smiling as he made his way out the door. As he walked out the door, I could help but notice how good that jacket made him look today, it really suited him.

I got out of bed and grabbed my phone as I checked my phone. The notification I read on my screen made me feel ecstatic. I swiped right and was bought to my Instagram page where a picture of Scarlett, Chad and myself popped up on screen. Gosh, did we have a good time the three of us. I stared at the photo once more before commenting on the image.

@cxrichwxld: such a wonderful picture ;) was wonderful to meet a bright young girl like you x

I smiled to myself as I pressed send and followed her on Instagram. I looked at the first few images on her account and was pretty interested. Selfies, scenery shots and images from various football game. I quickly looked at the time once again and put my phone on charge before grabbing clothes from my bag and heading towards the bathroom door, closing it behind me.

"You two are seriously the hottest couple ever in my books, like you even beat out Kim and Kayne. But I am curious to know how you two met. I've asked Chad before but he's always been busy with practice and what not." Grace asked as she passed me a napkin from the kitchen table.
