"Oh Ollie, you're so cute when you act this way." Poppy said in a rather flirtatious way as she began giggling. I watched Ollie roll his eyes as he shuffled uncomfortably on his seat.

I can't do this, I can't do anything with Poppy's doll like face glaring straight at me, knowing the things she's possibly capable of. I sighed as I moved closer towards the pair and tried as hard as I could to talk confidently without showing a single tinge of fear within my voice.

"Ollie!" I called out as his body jerked rather quickly, staring at me in wide eyes. I knew this was a seriously dangerous idea with Chad likely to prowl around any minute but I desperately needed answers to Ollie's choice of guests.

"What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the exact same thing Ollie, what the hell are you doing here?" I snapped back at him as I looked at Poppy in complete disgust. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes as she looked over to her right, trying to avoid any eye contact with me.

"Oll's, I'm going to find something to eat because I'm starving. Let me know when this little girl finds her mummy so I can back to big girl adventures with you." She added with a wink before heading over to another direction.

"Seriously, what the hell is your actual problem Ollie? I don't understand how you can dare hang around with a girl like Poppy."

"What else was I meant to do Carmen? You know how awkward it would be if I were to come here by my own self without a girl by my side."

I thought back to Jackson, whom I met earlier on in the night and wondered how he didn't have any problems with spending the night without a woman by his side and yet Ollie was desperate for one.

"Oh please, don't you dare give me that crap now Ollie. There are so many good girls who wouldn't mind having you as their own and who would be willing to date you yet I haven't got a clue as to why you'd want Poppy. You can clearly tell she doesn't even care for you or even love you, what keeps you getting pulled towards her?"

"It's so easy for you, isn't it? With your perfect life and your perfect boyfriend. Maybe you should just go with Chad instead of tell me how to live my life, it would be better for both of us."

"My life isn't perfect as you think it is and you should know why. My relationship with Chad is slowly dying out, my love life is a complete mess because I'm going with you behind my boyfriend's back, my brother thinks I'm just a scandal that's waiting to happen and not even the heavens above know what's going to happen with the bond between my mother and I.

Just because I might still be with Chad and I force myself to put on a smile everyday, it doesn't mean absolute sh*t. So don't bother telling me that my life is perfect because it's anything but Ollie and out of all people, you SHOULD at least know that!"

I said as I let out sharp heaves of breath filled with anger. Right now, I didn't feel the need to cry because it wasn't at all important and plus, I didn't want to give the wrong impression on a night like this so all I did was let out a sigh and stayed quiet as I watched Ollie look down onto the ground.

"At least you have Chad and he has you Carmen. I don't have anybody to have the same kind of bond as you two so for now Poppy's the best type of company to have. Sure, she might be loud and a little obnoxious but she's still one of the only people who I'm willing to put up with."

"Did you used to go out with her?"

"What?" He looked at me rather confused as I tried my best to compose myself and stay calm in my questioning towards him.

"Have you and Poppy ever dated or am I sounding crazy -"

"You aren't crazy Carmen, just please calm down."
