It was only a couple of days left until The Brownlow's were done and dusted so I could finally go home to sort out my priorities. I would be able to patch things up with Brayden, be a better girlfriend towards Chad and sort out my rather vulnerable feelings towards Ollie.

Quickly tying my hair in a quick braid, I slipped on a leather jacket and began making my way out the bedroom and to the front door. Today was an exciting day for me since it was time to get our fittings sorted out for the big day. I grabbed my bag and headed out of the door as I made my way to Grace's boutique. My stomach had felt like tiny butterflies were racing around inside as I turned the corner and made my way towards the front door of the boutique.

I stared rather curiously at the sign above me. In a kind of beautiful cursive script, the word Gracie's was written in colour black on a golden coloured backdrop. I was curious about the sign since this was honestly the first time I had actually noticed it. I smiled as I pushed opened the door to see a couple of familiar faces standing inside the boutique.

Chad made his way towards me and bought me into a warning embrace. Blushing, he released from the hug as I looked at a rather tall woman standing still, holding a microphone in her hand. Thank goodness I dressed nicely, Chad was joking when he was talking about the media being here, I thought to myself as I smiled at her.

"You're looking as beautiful as ever Carmen." he said, as I could still feel the warmth of the blush on my face. The lady with the microphone whom I realised was a reporter, stepped forward to introduce herself.

"Good afternoon Miss Richwald, it's a pleasure to meet you. I appreciate your's and everyone else's time. My name's Alexis Hunter, a reporter from The Herald Sun."

"Hi, please call me Carmen but The Brownlow's is actually Chad's night. I'm just going to support him, just like any good girlfriend would support their beloved."

We all laughed as Alexis begun her interview process, first beginning with Chad and through to Grace who was busy working hard at the reception desk and Angus who then began chatting away with Grace. I smiled at them, filled with both joy and pride. Mesmerised by the sparks that seemed to be emerging from their angelic voices, my thoughts became distracted feeling a slight tap on my shoulder as I turned around.

"Excuse me Carmen, but I hope you don't mind if I could interview you?"

Standing in front of me was Alexis. She stood proudly, holding the microphone on a kind of angle as she let out a smirk. Her vibrant red hair shone underneath the suns rays as I happily agreed to her interview. We both sat ourselves down on a seat near an array of beautiful gowns of various sizes and clothes.

"Thank you for agreeing for me to interview you today. We've all have had a pretty busy year, so tell us, what's been on the agenda for you."

"Well, I haven't really been busy that much apart from keeping up with studying and university dilemmas."

"What are you planning to pursue in the nearby future, meaning what are your future aspirations."

"Right now, I'm currently studying Journalism back at Adelaide. After I get my degree I am actually hoping to get a job working with AFL but I'll be happy with any field really."

Looking out the window, I could see Ollie hanging around outside and almost immediately I could feel my heart skip a couple of beats. Deciding to ignore his oblivious soul, I continued to pay attention on Alexis but struggled greatly.

"The Brownlow's are coming up and we're all dying to know any gossip on your dress, if you can give us any?"

"I mean, a secret is of course a secret but I do want to give a shoutout to the designer of my dress and a dear friend of mine, Grace Wingard. She's been busily been designing my dress and I am forever grateful for that."
