"Alright Carmen, before I continue with what I'm about to say, I just need to state what I'm all about. I'm going to be straight forward with you and I don't care if you like me or not, I'd appreciate it if you'd be straight with me."
I stayed quiet taking in everything Harry had just told me. Did I do something to upset him? Has Ollie told him something that he doesn't like? I could feel tension building up between the pair of us as the moments went past.
"I know about you Carmen, I know a whole lot about you." He paused as he stared bitterly at me. What was this guys problem, the only reason I was here was to support my brother, if it wasn't for Ollie, I wouldn't have been anywhere near this a**hole.
"My parents might be filled with rainbows and sunshine with your visit here, but you aren't ever going to fool me. I know about your previous relationship with Chad Wingard and your current situation with Kurt Tippet. Whatever your game is, it's not working with me."
"Alright, hold on. What the hell is your damn problem Jordan, I thought you had something to show me, not to start a damn argument with me about lord knows what."
"Oh yeah, I do something to show you and that in fact is my piece of mind. I know about girls like you. They're only interested in guys like my brother, because of their occupation. Because Ollie's a footballer, you think that's what gives you the right to wrap him around your finger but once that spotlight starts to fade away and he doesn't receive any media attention, you jump onto the next man available for you."
"Who do you think you are Jordan to come up to me and accuse me of sleeping with every footballer or guy I see. I'm not that type of girl you think I am."
"Oh yeah, I can honestly believe you when clearly you're involved in an affair with a player who lives half way around Australia."
"Haven't you got your own life to live? I mean you're getting married in a few days and here you are, worrying about me." I said smirking before getting distracted as Jordan slammed his hands against the wooden table that separated us.
"Don't act smart with me Carmen. I don't understand what makes you sleep with every guy you see. Ollie is a good guy, I have no idea why you'd want to waste what you've got for a stupid fling."
"You do realise it was an ALLEGED affair. They've got no proof that I actually had anything to do with Kurt Tippet. Now you better watch that mouth of yours boy or else there will be trouble."
"Well they haven't got proof that you DIDN'T sleep with Kurt. And I watch my mouth, unlike you Carmen. I understand that Ollie's invested in you at the moment and I also understand that things happen, but I swear to god Carmen, if you do anything, ANYTHING, to hurt my brother and that also includes getting involved with this Tippet character -"
I zoned out of what Jordan was saying as I felt angered with each word that came from that boys mouth. My patience was beginning to run out and I could feel my temper building rapidly inside of me. I didn't take a moment to think. How could Ollie's brother think it was a smart idea to put me down and judge my sexuality? He knew nothing about me.
Pressing my lips together, I raised my hand back and without absolutely any hesitation, I flung my hand forward as hard as I knew could, smirking to myself as my hand moved sharply across his face. The loud slap could be heard the moment my hand made contact with his face.
I knew I shouldn't have resorted to this but I had no choice. I felt absolutely no guilt as I watch Jordan's eyes widened. The smirk that was on my face now turned to an angered grown as I stood and stared bitterly into his eyes.
"I want you to never, ever speak about another female the way you spoke to me tonight. My previous relationship with Chad is absolutely none of your business and that so called affair of mine with that Tippet character as you called him, never actually happened. You want proof, Ollie and I are still together. There's your f*cking proof Jordan.
Remember what happened tonight when you speak to your wife or another women the way you spoke to me tonight. Let these words flow through your mind because clearly you're making yourself look like a pretentious jerk. You hear, do you bloody hear me?" I shouted watching the fear spread across Jordan's face. I felt in control now and felt no guilt giving Jordan a of my mind too.
"Aw look, there's a red mark upon your cheek. Better get that cleaned up before anyone noticed that you got owned by a women." I said as Jordan muttered under his breath nervously and made his way back in the house.
I could see Ollie rush through the doorway and laugh as he saw Jordan make his way past him.
"Hey bro, can I have my girl back, I only just got here and you're already trying to take her away from me." Ollie said as he let out a cute laugh.
"You can have her Ollie, remind me never to have a conversation with her again, ever." Jordan added before marching towards the opposite end. Ollie turned his attention on me and asked what was going on. I shrugged my shoulders innocently, pretending I didn't know the answer to the question. Ollie brushed off the though and came over to me where he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me upon the forehead.
Tonight was an interesting time and honestly, if Ollie and his parents weren't around, who knew what more I could have done to damage that boys' ego. Laughing
quietly to myself, I trailed behind Ollie as we headed back inside to continue dinner.* * * * *
