-JUPITER-
"Did you manage to find a date, then?" Hermione asked, standing in front of the mirror as she carefully smoothed down her hair with Sleekeazy's Hair Potion, the liquid gleaming as she worked it through her curls.
"I did," Jupiter replied with a sly smile, throwing her blanket off and standing up from her four-poster bed.
"Are you going to tell me who, or are you going to make me extremely annoyed?" Hermione scoffed, running the potion over the same unruly curl that refused to straighten.
"I think I'll go with making you annoyed," Jupiter teased, hiding a grin as she reached down under her bed and pulled out a rather large white box. She rested it on her bed, but her fingers drummed on the lid, hesitant to open it. "Who are you going with, anyway?"
Hermione bit her lip, casting a glance over her shoulder. "Er... promise not to freak out."
Jupiter straightened, her eyes narrowing. "Oh, bloody hell, it's not Draco, is it?"
"Merlin, no." Hermione shot her a look of mock horror, quickly shaking her head. "It's—well, you know Viktor Krum?"
Parvati and Lavender, who had been gossiping in the bathroom, caught Hermione's words and practically flew into the room, mouths open wide.
"WHAT?" Parvati, Lavender, and Jupiter all yelled in unison.
"It's not really that big of a deal," Hermione muttered, attempting nonchalance as her cheeks turned pink.
"Hermione, he's seriously the biggest Quidditch player ever!" Lavender exclaimed, eyes wide with amazement.
"Of course it's a big deal!" Parvati grinned, clutching her hands to her chest like she'd just heard the most romantic thing in the world.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Jupiter asked, her tone part surprised, part impressed. Hermione merely rolled her eyes.
"You didn't tell me when Harry kissed you, so now we're even," Hermione replied, giving Jupiter a pointed look.
Parvati and Lavender gasped, hands flying to their mouths.
"Harry Potter kissed you?" Lavender gawped, staring at Jupiter with disbelief.
"Don't act so surprised," Jupiter said with a shrug, but there was a mischievous glint in her eye she couldn't quite hide.
"Merlin, you lot are so lucky!" Parvati huffed, stomping her foot. "I had to say yes to Ernie Macmillan! It was either him, or having no date at all!"
