"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest."

"What time is it?"

"You're seriously thinking about that right now?"

Harry pulled his lips away from her collarbone and looked up at her with his eyebrows furrowed. Jupiter laughed and sat up, running her fingers through his hair briefly before reaching for the watch on his nightstand. "Get up, we've got to go," she said, kissing his forehead as she stood up from his four-poster bed.

"So you'd rather go to class with Umbridge than stay here and do this?" Harry asked, straightening his loosened tie as he watched Jupiter fix her hair in the floor-length mirror beside Neville's bed.

"Absolutely not," she smiled. "But I don't fancy getting a detention with Umbridge again, and neither should you."

"Since when were you so scared of a detention?" Harry scoffed, remaining still on his bed. "You weren't even scared when we went into the forbidden forest in first year!"

"Well, yeah, because that wasn't scary," Jupiter shrugged, walking back over to Harry with a smile. The sight of him after a snog always brought a smile to her face, partly because of how bloody attractive he was, and partly from the affirmation of the effect she had on him. "You lot were just wimps."

"We literally saw Voldemort, yet you're still afraid of a detention with Umbridge?" Harry said, his hands finding the sides of her waist as she attempted to bring some sort of order to his hair. "Why?"

"I'm not afraid of anything," she said, her eyes purposefully not meeting his.

"You're dodging the question," Harry huffed.

"Yes, I am," Jupiter nodded, grabbing his hands and pulling him off of the bed.

"Are you going to tell me what happened to your hand, then?" Harry asked, holding up her right wrist. Jupiter's face went pale at the sight of her bandaged hand. She had forgotten that she wasn't supposed to be ambidextrous until she figured out how to remove the scar.

"Professor Sprout caught me when I was on my way back from detention, that's why I took so long," Jupiter said, removing her hand from Harry's grip as she started to walk from his dorm. Harry quickly joined her at her side and instinctively reached out to hold the door open for her. "She had me help her take plant cuttings in the greenhouse for some extra house points, and I cut myself with the shears."

Harry stayed silent for a moment, his eyes fixated on her carefully. She knew he didn't buy it. He knew her too well. "Are you going to tell me what actually happened?"
