"Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may be falling into place."

"Did you talk to him?" Harry hissed, gripping Jupiter's wrist as soon as she entered the Great Hall for breakfast the next morning, pulling her away from Hermione and Ginny as they walked.

"You should know; I bet you stalked me on the map the whole time," Jupiter muttered, cautiously keeping her voice low as they passed the Slytherins who hissed and booed loudly at them. "I think I got through to him a little." Her eyes lingered on Draco, who was sitting in the middle of the table with a green sweater on, his chin resting in his hand glumly.

"Did he admit it?" Harry whispered, his gaze locked on Draco with clearly different intentions than Jupiter. "Cursing Katie?"

"No," Jupiter sighed, pursing her lips tightly. "He denied it, but he knows I know..." The Gryffindor table, a solid mass of red and gold, cheered as Harry and Jupiter approached. They both grinned and waved, putting on a facade of excitement for the upcoming game as they sat down next to Ron, Hermione and Ginny; Ron was slumped down over his untouched porridge.

"Cheer up, Ron!" called Lavender from further down the table. "I know you'll be brilliant!"
Ron ignored her, and Lavender purposefully ignored Hermione's unintentional green glare.

"Honestly, Ron, you look like someone just murdered your favorite puppy," Jupiter scoffed, trying to brush off the additional attention from the Quidditch fans that made her skin crawl.

"She's right," a voice said from beside Ginny. "You look dreadful, Ron." Luna had sat at their table, and she was dawning a very large and obnoxious Lion hat that was half the size of her.

Ron groaned, lifting his head just enough to glare at Luna. "Thanks, Luna. That really helps."

Luna tilted her head, completely unbothered. "You're welcome. Sometimes it's best to embrace the truth." The lion's mouth roared suddenly, startling a few first-years nearby.

Ginny snorted into her pumpkin juice, while Hermione rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed. "Honestly, Ron, you'll be fine. It's not like this is your first match."

"Yeah, exactly, it's my last," Ron muttered. His eyes darted to Harry for reassurance, but Harry was busy staring past him, his jaw tightening as he locked eyes with Draco across the hall.

"Harry," Jupiter said softly, nudging him under the table. "You're going to burn a hole in him if you keep that up."

"Good," Harry muttered, but he broke his gaze, turning back to his plate and stabbing a piece of toast as though it had personally offended him.
