"My hand was the one you reached for all throughout the Great War."

Harry was gripping Jupiter's wrist tightly as they moved up the staircase to Ravenclaw tower, Ron and Hermione directly behind them, each of them dodging the chaotic waves of fleeing students that were oscillating on the staircase as well. The staircase trembled beneath their feet as the castle seemed to groan and shift in response to the chaos. Harry's grip on Jupiter's wrist was firm, almost bruising, but she didn't pull away.

"Harry," Ron called breathlessly. "Hermione and I were thinking... it doesn't really matter if we find the Horcrux."

Harry and Jupiter stopped, looking back towards the two. "What're you saying?" Harry asked.

"Unless we can destroy it—"

"So we were thinking..."

"Well, it was Ron's idea, it was completely brilliant, really—"

"Just get on with it!" Jupiter cut in frantically.

"You destroyed Tom Riddle's diary with a basilisk fang, right?" Ron said to Harry. "Well, we know where we might find one, don't we?"

Harry nodded, and reached into his pocket, pulling out the Marauders Map. "Okay, but take this so you can find us when you're done."

"Where're you going?" Hermione asked him, shoving the parchment into her beaded bag.

"Ravenclaw Common Room," Harry answered without hesitation. "Gotta start somewhere, yeah?"

Harry turned, continuing to pull Jupiter along up the crowded staircase. Jupiter stumbled slightly as Harry tugged her forward, her mind racing to keep up with the rapid exchange. "Harry," she said, breathless as they climbed, "what do you even expect to find in the common room? If the diadem is hidden, it's not just going to be lying around on someone's desk."

"I don't know," Harry admitted, his jaw clenched. "But it's a start. It might have clues—something about where she kept it. Something we can use."

"Harry!" A high-pitched voice called from behind them. "Jove!"

"We're a bit pre-occupied right now, Luna," Harry grumbled, not breaking his stride up the staircase.

"But you're wasting your time!" Luna argued, pushing through a group of rushing third-years. "You won't find anything where you're going!"

"What're you talking about?" Jupiter asked, clinging onto the railing, forcing Harry to stop his pace.

"Don't you remember what Cho said?" Luna said, collecting herself after the chase. "There's not a person alive who's seen it! Don't you get it? You have to talk to someone who's dead!"
