"All she wanted was the effort she gave."

"I just don't get why the team got so popular all of a sudden," Harry shrugged as they sat down for breakfast in the Great Hall. Jupiter did Hermione the service of sitting next to her instead of Harry so that she wouldn't be forced to sit next to Ron who was still ignoring her. "I mean, half the people who showed up had never even rode a broom."

"Oh, come on, Harry," Hermione said, suddenly impatient. "It's not Quidditch that's popular,
it's you! You've never been more interesting, and frankly, you've never been more fanciable."

Ron gagged on a large piece of kipper as Harry looked over to Jupiter for confirmation, holding back an amused smile.

"Oh, yeah," Jupiter nodded immediately from beside Hermione. "Don't get me wrong, you've obviously always been extremely attractive, but whatever happened to you over the summer was a godsend."

Harry blinked at her, caught completely off guard by this revelation. "A godsend?"

Jupiter shrugged nonchalantly, though there was a playful glint in her eyes. "What can I say? Confidence looks extremely hot on you.."

Ron, still recovering from his choking fit, coughed loudly. "Bloody hell, Jove! Don't encourage him!"

"No, please do," Harry smiled, his green eyes locked firmly on Jupiter as if he was eager to hear more praise leave her lips.

"Yeah, that's what I mean," Jupiter said, motioning towards his visually obvious boost in ego.

"Anyways..." said Hermione, clearing her throat. "Everyone knows you've been telling the truth now, don't they? The whole Wizarding world has
had to admit that you were right about Voldemort being back and that you really have fought him twice in the last two years and escaped both times. And now they're calling you 'the Chosen One' — well, come on, can't you see why people are fascinated by you? And you've been through all that persecution from the Ministry when they were trying to make out you were unstable and a liar. You can still see the marks on the back of your hand where that evil woman made you write with your own blood, but you stuck to your story anyway..."

"Hey, that happened to all of us," said Ron, shaking back his sleeves to point out a scar that wasn't there since his had faded completely due to his singular detention.

"And it doesn't hurt that you've grown about a foot over the summer either," Hermione finished, purposefully ignoring Ron.

"I'm tall," Ron muttered inconsequentially.

"Well, I wasn't speaking about you, was I?" Hermione snapped, setting down her silverware with a loud 'clang.'

Ron leaned back slightly, his eyes widening at her sudden remark. "I- I suppose not," he muttered in fear.
