Meet Saanvi and Manjiri. Saanvi is reckless, confident and doesn't really care about anything. Manjiri on the other hand is sweet, likes everyone around her to be happy and is always cheerful and kind.
Everything changes when Manjiri's dreams are i...
Now it's time for a test in Healthcare. Saanvi was absolutely unbotheredand guess what; she didn't even open her book and didn't really care about theresult or anything. She was this bad kid, who never completed her writing notesor read lessons but still passed the exams. When the bell rang, Manjiri came inthe class; the textbook and a notebook in her hands and the bag hung on oneshoulder, a big file tucked under her arm. Saanvi could not help but smile.Manjiri thoroughly studied the chapters and even highlighted the importantpoints with her favourite baby pink coloured highlighter pen. Saanvi on otherhand just carried a notebook and two pens in her bag. As Manjiri walked bySaanvi's desk, Saanvi sensed a distinct aroma of jasmine and she had thisamazing surge of dopamine all over her body. It was as strong as her favouritecold coffee, she thought. Aargh! Why was it so hard to fight back this stupidsmile?
Then questions were bombarded on them. She focused on writing and soonshe was lost into assembling everything that popped in her mind. Isn't this thisthe way one writes the answers? After five minutes Saanvi looked up. Sheexhaled deeply and took a sip of water from her bottle. The teacher took herpaper and waited for others to finish. Everybody else in her class was busyscribbling on their respective pages. She excused herself and went outside towash her face and get some fresh air. Her head felt heavy and numb. Aftertaking a long stroll around the ground floor, she returned to the class.
The bell rang and she headed to Chemistry lab. Oh! Finally something that interested her was happening. That day they had to perform chromatography, run the solvent till certain distance and as the pigments separated, they had to calculate their RF Factors. That was interesting. First they got the strips of special filter paper on which they had to do the marking. Then put a drop of the sample on the paper and wait till it dried. Then they had to dip the strip in ethanol, the solvent. After about twenty minutes the solvent ran till the desired mark. After the paper dried Saanvi set out on calculations, well, they did intrigue her, sometimes. She calculated RF Factors for two pigments and they were 0.95 and 0.88. It was quite an easy thing.

The Chromatography Experiment
After that she went to the gate to find Manjiri waiting for her again. She felt very happy. She led Manjiri to the canteen and bought two samosas and some fruit juice. Though, Manjiri insisted on paying; Saanvi declined and paid by herself. Saanvi said, "Consider it as my birthday treat," and winked at her friend. Manjiri smiled and Saanvi almost forgot that she was piercing the juice pack with her straw and the juice spilled. Manjiri laughed and Saanvi too laughed. Then they both parted their ways.
After reaching home Saanvi played her favourite playlist and begantyping.
A/N : Pretty boring chapter, IK 🙄. Do you want a climax change soon? Or what say about Saanvi's POV?
I tried to work through Manjiri's side as well. Manjiri studies Accountancy and Fine Arts as there in the pictures above.
